天花粉（一两）、东壁土（五钱）、穿山甲（三钱）、川贝母（三钱，去心），研为细末并混合均匀。撒在现成的太乙膏上贴敷患处。即可排出异物渣滓而痊愈。
治疗坐板疮屡见疗效。大黄、黄柏研为细末，加入猪油，共同捣匀后涂抹，即可痊愈。
治疗漆疮的圣药。蟹黄（晒干）与滑石一同研为细末，用白蜜调匀后涂擦。先用老杉木屑煎汤清洗患处。
生姜（不限数量），捣烂绞取汁液。在铜勺内熬煮至浓稠，涂于患处。感觉热辣难忍时即为痊愈。
治疗汤火烫伤。拂涂其上立刻即愈。
生地黄榆（晒干）研为细末，用香油调匀后敷贴。皮肤破损者干撒药粉；伤势重者，再用生萝卜捣取一碗汁液，口服饮用。效果良好，但需较长时间才能痊愈。
牛膝（一两）、黄柏（五钱）、知母（五钱），用水和酒煎煮后服用，有效。
白芨（八钱）、水龙骨（生长在粪船板上者为佳），研为细末，用水调匀后涂抹。

Fenugreek Radix (Tian Hua Fen, 天花粉) (1 liang), Eastern Wall Soil (Dong Bi Tu, 东壁土) (5 qian), Squama Manis (Chuan Shan Jia, 穿山甲) (3 qian), Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus (Chuan Bei Mu, 川贝母) (3 qian, heart removed) are ground into fine powder and mixed evenly. Sprinkle this powder onto prepared Taiyi Gao (Great Emperor Plaster) and apply to the lesion. The foreign body debris will be expelled, leading to recovery.
Prunus pseudocerasus seed (Ying Tao He, 樱桃核) ground with vinegar and applied topically reduces swelling.
This is frequently effective for treating intertrigo caused by prolonged sitting (Zuo Ban Chuang, 坐板疮).
Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Da Huang, 大黄) and Phellodendri Cortex (Huang Bo, 黄柏) are ground into powder and mixed with lard. Apply evenly after pounding; recovery follows immediately.

Scutellariae Barbatae Herba? No, Crab Roe (Xie Huang, 蟹黄) (dried) is ground together with Talcum (Hua Shi, 滑石) into powder. Mix with white honey for topical application. First, wash the affected area with decoction made from old cedar wood shavings.
Fresh Ginger (Sheng Jiang, 生姜) (any amount) is pounded and juiced. The juice is boiled in a copper spoon until concentrated. Apply to the affected area. Recovery occurs when a sensation of intense heat and spiciness is felt.
For treating burns and scalds. Apply immediately for instant recovery.
Radix Sanguisorbae Officinalis (Sheng Di Yu, 生地榆) (dried) is ground into powder and mixed with sesame oil for topical application. For broken skin, apply dry powder. For severe injuries, additionally drink one bowl of juice extracted from fresh radish. The effect is good, but full recovery takes time.
Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niu Xi, 牛膝) (1 liang), Phellodendri Cortex (Huang Bo, 黄柏) (5 qian), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhi Mu, 知母) (5 qian) are decocted in water and wine. Ingestion is effective.

Calcinatum Cupri Acetatis (Chen Duan Shi, 陈锻石) (8 liang) and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Da Huang, 4 liang, sliced) are stir-fried together until the cupri acetatis turns peach-blossom color. Remove the rhubarb, grind finely, and store. Apply to wounds upon injury to stop bleeding immediately.
For treating bamboo or wood splinters embedded in flesh.
Ricini Semen (Bi Ma Zi, 蓖麻子) is pounded and applied. Pain cessation indicates the splinter can be removed. Wash the area immediately after removal.
Dalbergiae Odoriferae Lignum (Zi Jiang Xiang, 紫降香) (scraped off with a porcelain tile sickle, ground fine on a stone mill, avoid iron tools) stops bleeding upon application and leaves no scar.
Another formula: Arisaema Cum Bile (Tian Nan Xing, 天南星) and Draconis Os (Xue Jie, 血竭) in equal parts are ground into fine powder. Application stops bleeding.
