【桑螵蛸】
味咸、甘，性平，无毒。禀受秋季金气的阴寒，兼得桑树的津液而生成。其气机能升能降，属性属阴。畏旋复花。
【主治】主要治疗内伤导致的疝气瘕积，阳痿，益精生子。治疗女子经血闭阻、腰痛，通利五淋，通畅小便水道。（出自《本经》）治疗男子……
【归经】入肝、命门、膀胱三经，属于固肾益精的药物。（兼有涩剂的作用。）

【雄原蚕蛾】
味咸，性温，有小毒。
【主治】主要益精气，强健性功能，性交不知疲倦，也能止住遗精。（出自《别录》）壮阳事，止泄精，尿血，温暖……脏。
【归经】入肾经，属于助阳的药物。
【前论】寇氏说：蚕蛾取第二番（第二次结茧化出的）者，取其数在生育方面吉利。吴普说：蚕蛾性情淫佚，出茧即交配，直至干枯……
【禁忌】经疏说：少年阳痿由于失志（意志消沉或情志不遂）所致者，以及阴虚有火者，均忌用。

[Honey]
Sweet in taste, neutral in nature, non-toxic. It absorbs the essence of myriad herbs and trees, and is brewed by combining with dew moisture. Its qi movement descends, and its nature is Yin.
[Indications] Primarily treats evil qi in the heart and abdomen, various types of convulsions and epilepsy. It calms the five Zang organs and addresses various deficiencies; tonifies Qi and supplements the Middle Jiao; stops pain and detoxifies; eliminates numerous diseases; and harmonizes a hundred medicinal substances.
[Meridian Tropism] Enters the Heart and Spleen meridians. It is a sweet, mild, slippery, and moistening substance. (It can treat stabbing pain in the heart and abdomen due to blood stasis, harmonize Ying and Wei [Nutritive and Defensive Qi], moisten the Zang organs, unblock the Triple Burner, and regulate the Spleen.)
[Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case)]
Salty and sweet in taste, neutral in nature, non-toxic. It inherits the Yin Qi of Autumn Metal and is formed by combining with the sap of the Mulberry tree. Its qi movement can ascend and descend, and its nature is Yin. It has an aversion to Inulae Flos (Xuanfuhua).
[Indications] Primarily treats internal injury leading to hernia and mass accumulation, impotence, benefits Essence and promotes fertility. Treats amenorrhea and lower back pain in women, unblocks the Five Stranguries, and facilitates urination. (From *Shennong Bencao Jing*). Treats male...
[Meridian Tropism] Enters the Liver, Mingmen (Gate of Life), and Bladder meridians. It is a substance for securing the Kidney and benefiting Essence. (It also acts as an astringent agent.)
[Preliminary Discussion] Su Song stated: Ancient prescriptions for seminal leakage and those containing wind-dispelling drugs often use this substance. Kou Zongshi stated: For deficiency and damage in men and women, Kidney decline, impotence, nocturnal emission, and white turbidity...
