Li Ting followed Bayan in the campaign against Yinzhou, shell-shocked on the left flank, an arrow piercing the chest, nearly dying. Bayan ordered a water buffalo to be slaughtered, its abdomen opened, and Li Ting placed inside. After a long while, he revived.
