寸。
有毒。令人不渴，杀鸡犬。长寸许，四脚，群游水上，水涸即飞，亦名水马。非海中
主产难之水马也。
无毒。令人易产，取角，临时执之。亦得可烧末服少许，虫如啮发，头上有角。
无毒。主小儿饮乳后吐逆，不入腹亦出。破芦节中，取虫二枚，煮汁饮之。虫如小
蚕。小儿呕逆与 乳不同，宜细详之。 乳，乳饱后 出者是。
无毒。主飞尸游蛊。生食，以姜、醋进之，弥佳。生永嘉海中，味辛辣如蓼，故名蓼
螺。
味咸，平，无毒。主赤白毒痢，蛊毒下血，五野鸡病，恶疮。生东海，一如蛇，常在
水中浮游，炙食，亦烧末服一、二钱匕。
带之主刀刃不伤。亦云令人有媚。生南海山水中，大如钱，腹下赤如血。云在水中着
水马脚，皆令仆倒耳。
味甘，平，无毒。主热气，消食。杂昆布为羹，主结气。生新罗，蛤之类，罗人食之
。
有大毒。着皮肉肿起，杀癣虫，食恶疮息肉，剥人面皮，除印字，印骨者亦尽。虫
如中蚁大，赤色，腰中青黑，似狗 ，一尾尖，有短翅，能飞，春夏时有。
主脑裂，人大热，发头热者，令脑缝裂开。取黑虱三、五百，捣碎敷之。又主疔肿，以
十枚置疮上，以荻箔绳作炷，灸虱上，即根出。反脚指间有肉刺疮，以黑虱敷，根出也。
太平广记∶出《酉阳杂俎》。人将死，虱离身。或云∶取病虱于床前，可以卜病之将死，

（似虾蟆者）像蛤蟆，生于南方溪石之间，尾长三、四寸。
（水马）有毒。能使人不感到口渴，能杀死鸡和狗。体长约一寸，有四只脚，群游于水上，水干涸时就会飞走，也名叫水马。不是海中那种主治难产的水马。
（角虫）无毒。能使人容易分娩，取它的角，临产时拿着它。也可以烧成粉末，服用少许，这种虫像咬头发的样子，头上有角。
（芦节虫）无毒。主治小儿喝奶后呕吐逆出，奶未入腹即吐出。剖开芦苇节，取出两条虫，煮汁给患儿饮用。这种虫像小蚕。小儿呕吐与吐乳不同，应当仔细辨别。吐乳，是指吃饱奶后吐出来的是乳汁。
（蓼螺）无毒。主治飞尸游蛊。生吃，用姜、醋送服，效果更好。生于永嘉的海中，味道辛辣像蓼草，所以名叫蓼螺。
（海蛇/水蛇）味咸，性平，无毒。主治赤白毒痢、蛊毒下血、五野鸡病、恶疮。生于东海，形状像蛇，常在水中浮游，烤熟食用，也可以烧成粉末，服用一、二钱匕。
（赤腹贝）佩戴它能防止刀刃伤害。也有说法认为能使人具有魅力。生于南海山水中，大如铜钱，腹部红色像血。据说它附着在水马的脚上，能使水马仆倒。
（新罗蛤）味甘，性平，无毒。主治热气，消食。与昆布一起煮羹，主治气结。产于新罗，属于蛤类，新罗人食用它。
（赤腰飞虫）有大毒。附着在皮肉上会肿起，能杀灭癣虫，食用可治恶疮息肉，剥落人的面皮，去除印记，连刻在骨头上的印记也能去除。这种虫像蚂蚁大小，红色，腰部青黑色，像狗一样，有一条尖尾巴，有短翅，能飞，春夏季节时有出现。
（黑虱）主治脑裂，人体大热导致头部发热使脑缝裂开的情况。取黑虱三、五百只，捣碎敷在上面。又主治疔肿，取十枚放在疮上，用荻箔绳做成艾炷，在黑虱上施灸，即可拔出病根。脚趾间有肉刺疮，用黑虱敷贴，也能拔出病根。《太平广记》记载：出自《酉阳杂俎》。人将死时，虱子离开身体。也有人说：取床前的病虱，可以占卜病人是否将死，虱子……
(Small toxicity). Mainly treats stream toxins (toxins associated with streams) and wandering gu poison (parasitic disease caused by gu). Burned into powder, take one or two qianbi (ancient unit of measurement for powder).
(Resembles toad). Resembles a toad, grows in the south among stream stones, tail three or four cun long.
(Water horse). Toxic. Makes people not feel thirsty, kills chickens and dogs. About one cun long, has four legs, swims in groups on water, flies when water dries up, also named Shuima (Water Horse). Not the Shuima from the sea that mainly treats difficult labor.
(Horned insect). Non-toxic. Makes childbirth easy, take its horn, hold it during delivery. Can also be burned into powder and taken in small amounts; the insect resembles biting hair, has a horn on its head.
(Reed joint insect). Non-toxic. Mainly treats infants vomiting after drinking milk, where milk does not enter the stomach but comes out. Break open the reed joint, take two insects, boil juice and drink it. The insect resembles a small silkworm. Infant vomiting differs from spitting up milk, should be carefully distinguished. Spitting up milk refers to vomiting milk content after being full.
(Polygonum snail). Non-toxic. Mainly treats flying corpse syndrome (a type of parasitic disease) and wandering gu poison. Eat raw, taken with ginger and vinegar, which is better. Grows in the sea of Yongjia, taste spicy like Polygonum (Polygonum multiflorum), hence named Liaoluo (Polygonum Snail).
(Salty flavor, neutral, non-toxic). Mainly treats red and white toxic dysentery, gu poison causing bloody stool, five types of wild chicken diseases (various skin or internal disorders), and malignant sores. Grows in the East Sea, resembles a snake, often floats in water, roast and eat, or burn into powder and take one or two qianbi.
(Believe it brings charm). Wearing it prevents blade injuries. Also said to make people charming. Grows in mountain waters of the South Sea, size like a coin, belly red like blood. It is said to attach to the feet of Shuima, causing them to fall.
(Kelp soup ingredient). Sweet flavor, neutral, non-toxic. Mainly treats heat qi, promotes digestion. Mixed with Kelp (Kunbu) to make soup, mainly treats Qi stagnation (stagnation of vital energy). Grows in Silla, a type of clam, people of Silla eat it.
(Large toxicity). Causes swelling on skin and flesh, kills tinea worms, eating it treats malignant sores and polyps, peels human facial skin, removes tattoos, even those carved on bones are completely removed. The insect is as large as an ant, red, waist dark green/black, resembles a dog, one sharp tail, has short wings, can fly, appears in spring and summer.
(Black louse). Mainly treats brain fissure, severe body heat causing head heat leading to cracking of cranial sutures. Take three to five hundred black lice, crush and apply externally. Also treats carbuncles, place ten lice on the sore, use reed mat rope as moxa cone, moxibustion on the lice, the root will come out. For corns between toes, apply black lice, the root will come out.
