(Continuing from the previous text) The term "number" refers to Heaven having six as its rhythm and Earth having five as its system. To cycle through Heavenly Qi, six periods constitute one complete cycle; to terminate Earthly cycles, five years constitute one full revolution. (Supplementary note: Six Jie refers to the division of the Six Qi, and Wu Zhi refers to the division of the Five Positions. Position corresponds to one year, and Qi governs one year; thus, five years make one cycle, and six years make one preparation. "Preparation" means traversing Heavenly Qi fully, while "revolution" means circling Earthly positions. The reason Earthly positions are discussed in terms of six but counted as five is that Heavenly Qi does not preside over Ministerial Fire.) Ruler Fire establishes itself by name, while Ministerial Fire fulfills its function by position. (Supplementary note: Ruler Fire is to the right of Ministerial Fire, but it only establishes its name at the Ruler's position without establishing a specific Year Qi. Therefore, Heaven moves by Qi, not pairing with Qi. Ruler Fire correctly guards its position, obeys Heaven's mandate, and proclaims the Fire command. Because it serves Heaven by name, it is said "Ruler Fire by name"; because it guards its position and receives orders, it is said "Ministerial Fire by position.") Five and Six combine, and seven hundred and twenty Qi units form one Ji (cycle), totaling thirty years; one thousand four hundred and forty Qi units total sixty years for one Zhou (revolution). Deficiency and Excess are all manifested within this period. (Supplementary note: In calendar calculations, one Qi unit equals fifteen days. Accumulating seven hundred and twenty Qi units yields thirty years; accumulating one thousand four hundred and forty Qi units yields sixty years. The Classic states: "When there is excess coming, deficiency follows; when there is deficiency coming, excess follows." Thus, within sixty years, both deficiency and excess appear. ○ New Correction notes: According to *Liu Jie Zang Xiang Lun* ("Five days is called Hou... until it cannot be practiced by physicians"), this section conveys the same meaning, which has been detailed earlier.) Gui Yuqu said: In years of Jia and Ji, Earth Yun dominates; in years of Yi and Geng, Metal Yun dominates; in years of Bing and Xin, Water Yun dominates; in years of Ding and Ren, Wood Yun dominates; in years of Wu and Gui, Fire Yun dominates. (Supplementary note: When Heaven and Earth first separated and Yin and Yang divided their positions, Heaven divided into Five Qi and Earth arranged into Five Elements. The Five Elements took their positions and administered policies in the four directions; the Five Qi flowed separately and distributed among the Ten Heavenly Stems. At that time, Yellow Qi spanned across Jia and Ji, White Qi spanned across Yi and Geng, Black Qi spanned across Bing and Xin, Green Qi spanned across Ding and Ren, and Red Qi spanned across Wu and Gui. Therefore, Jia and Ji correspond to Earth Yun, Yi and Geng to Metal Yun, Bing and Xin to Water Yun, Ding and Ren to Wood Yun, and Wu and Gui to Fire Yun. ○ Detailed discussion on Yun includes Excess, Deficiency, and Balanced Qi. Jia, Geng, Bing, Ren, and Wu indicate Excess; Yi, Xin, Ding, Gui, and Ji indicate Deficiency. This is the general principle. Methods for determining Balanced Qi vary and are detailed in other chapters.) The Emperor asked: How do the Three Yin and Three Yang combine? Gui Yuqu answered: In Zi and Wu years, Shao Yin appears above; in Chou and Wei years, Tai Yin appears above; in Yin and Shen years, Shao Yang appears above; in Mao and You years, Yang Ming appears above; in Chen and Xu years, Tai Yang appears above; in Si and Hai years, Jue Yin appears above. Shao Yin is called the "Biao" (Epiphenomenon/Manifestation), and Jue Yin is called the "Zhong" (End). (Supplementary note: Biao refers to the upper head; Zhong refers to the end of the three Jia and six Jia cycles. ○ New Correction notes: Years of Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai are Zheng Hua (Direct Transformation), representing the reality of direct governance. Years of Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, and Si are Dui Hua (Opposite Transformation), representing the virtuality of opposite governance. This is the general rule.) Above Jue Yin, Wind Qi governs; above Shao Yin, Heat Qi governs; above Tai Yin, Dampness Qi governs; above Shao Yang, Ministerial Fire governs; above Yang Ming, Dryness Qi governs; above Tai Yang, Cold Qi governs. This is called the "Ben" (Root/Essence), which constitutes the "Six Yuan" (Six Primal Energies). (Supplementary note: The Three Yin and Three Yang are the Biao, while Cold, Heat, Dryness, Dampness, Wind, and Fire are the Ben, hence "called the Ben." The True Primal Qi divides into six transformations to summarize the generative functions of Kun Yuan. Examining their manifestations shows the six transformations differ; tracing their origin reveals they are indeed one Qi of the True Primal, hence "Six Yuan." Refer also to *Tian Yuan Ji Lun*.) Crimson Heaven's Qi passes through Niu and Nu mansions and the Wu division; Azure Heaven's Qi passes through Xin and Wei mansions and the Ji division; Azure Heaven's Qi passes through Wei and Shi mansions, Liu and Gui mansions; White Heaven's Qi passes through Kang, Di, Ang, and Bi mansions; Dark Heaven's Qi passes through Zhang, Yi, Lou, and Wei mansions. The so-called Wu and Ji divisions are Kui and Bi mansions, Jiao and Zhen mansions, which are the gates of Heaven and Earth. (Supplementary note: Wu Earth belongs to Qian, Ji Earth belongs to Xun. *Dun Jia Jing* states: Six Wus are the Gate of Heaven, Six Jis are the Door of Earth. Morning and evening rain divination takes the meaning of Northwest and Southeast. Rain is used by Earth, generated by Dampness, hence this divination. Refer to *Wu Yun Yun Lun*.) The Emperor asked: The discussions state that Heaven and Earth are the upper and lower of all things, and Left and Right are the pathways of Yin and Yang. I do not understand what this means. (The discussion refers to *Tian Yuan Ji Lun* and *Yin Yang Ying Xiang Da Lun* mentioned above.) Qi Bo said: By "Upper and Lower," we mean the locations where Yin and Yang appear in the annual Upper and Lower positions. By "Left and Right," we refer to: Whenever Jue Yin is above, Shao Yin is on the Left and Tai Yang is on the Right; whenever Shao Yin is above, Tai Yin is on the Left and Jue Yin is on the Right; whenever Tai Yin is above, Shao Yang is on the Left and Shao Yin is on the Right; whenever Shao Yang is above, Yang Ming is on the Left and Tai Yin is on the Right; whenever Yang Ming is above, Tai Yang is on the Left and Shao Yang is on the Right; whenever Tai Yang is above, Jue Yin is on the Left and Yang Ming is on the Right. This is determining positions facing North, describing the visible phenomena. (Speaking facing North. Up is South, Down is North, Left is West, Right is East.) The Emperor asked: What is "Down"? Qi Bo said: If Jue Yin is Up, then Shao Yang is Down, with Yang Ming on the Left and Tai Yin on the Right; if Shao Yin is Up, then Yang Ming is Down, with Tai Yang on the Left and Shao Yang on the Right; if Tai Yin is Up, then Tai Yang is Down, with Jue Yin on the Left and Yang Ming on the Right; if Shao Yang is Up, then Jue Yin is Down, with Shao Yin on the Left and Tai Yang on the Right; if Yang Ming is Up, then Shao Yin is Down, with Tai Yang on the Left and Jue Yin on the Right; if Tai Yang is Up, then Tai Yin is Down, with Shao Yang on the Left and Shao Yin on the Right. This is determining positions facing South, describing the visible phenomena. (The ruler of the year is in the South, so one faces North to discuss Left and Right; the subordinate position is here, so one faces South to discuss Left and Right. Heaven's position is Up, Earth's position is Down. Facing South, Left is East and Right is West. Up and Down differ, and Left and Right vary.) When Up and Down interact, and Cold and Heat approach each other, if the Qi are compatible, there is harmony; if incompatible, there is disease. (Wood approaching Fire, Metal approaching Water, Water approaching Wood, Earth approaching Metal are compatible. Earth approaching Wood, Water approaching Earth, Fire approaching Water, Metal approaching Fire, Wood approaching Metal are incompatible. Upper approaching Lower is Smooth (Shun); Lower approaching Upper is Rebellious (Ni), which can also cause disease due to stagnation, such as Earth approaching Ruler Fire or Ministerial Fire.) Question: Why does disease occur when Qi are compatible? Answer: It is because Lower approaches Upper, which is out of position. (Lower approaching Upper means Earth approaching Fire, Fire approaching Wood, Wood approaching Water, Water approaching Metal, Metal approaching Earth—all are Lower approaching Upper, out of position. In the father-son relationship, the son is below and the father is above. For the son to approach the father is contrary to propriety.) How are the Intermittent Qi? Qi Bo said: They follow the Qi's location, expected on the Left and Right. (In the Left and Right Cun, Guan, Chi pulse positions, receiving them to know if they respond or not, exceed or do not exceed.) Question: How to expect them? Answer: Following their Qi brings harmony; opposing their Qi brings disease. (Meaning: When it should be Deep, it is not Deep; when it should be Floating, it is not Floating; when it should be Choppy, it is not Choppy; when it should be Hooked, it is not Hooked; when it should be String-like, it is not String-like; when it should be Large, it is not Large. ○ *Zhi Yao Yao Lun* states: At the arrival of Jue Yin, the pulse is String-like; at Shao Yin, Hooked; at Tai Yin, Deep; at Tai Yang, Large and Floating; at Yang Ming, Short and Choppy; at Shao Yin [Note: Text likely implies Tai Yang or another, context suggests distinct pulses], Large and Long. Arrival with harmony indicates peace; arrival with severity indicates disease; arrival with reversal indicates disease; arrival without presence indicates disease; presence before arrival indicates disease; exchange of Yin and Yang indicates danger.) Disease occurs when not in its proper position (appearing in other positions). Disease occurs when positions shift alternately (Left appearing in Right pulse, Right appearing in Left pulse, due to Qi error). Danger occurs when positions are lost (Already appeared in another place, seeing killing Qi in the home palace). Death occurs with Reverse Cun-Chi (Present in Zi, Wu, Mao, You years. Reverse means the year should have Yin in Cun pulse but appears in Chi, or Yang in Chi pulse but appears in Cun. Both Cun and Chi reversing is called Reverse. If only Chi or only Cun reverses, it is non-responsive Qi, not Reverse). Death occurs with Intersecting Yin-Yang (Present in Yin, Shen, Si, Hai, Chou, Wei, Chen, Xu eight years. Intersection means the year should have Yin in Right pulse but appears in Left, or Yang in Left pulse but appears in Right. Left and Right intersecting is called Intersection. If only Left or only Right intersects, it is non-responsive Qi, not Intersection. ○ Foolish opinion: Huang Zhongli said: Regarding pulse intersections and reversals corresponding to Yun Qi, one takes the time of addition and臨 (Lin) to diagnose healthy people, verifying future death or life, not comparing with existing disease pulses.) First establish the year to know its Qi, observe the corresponding Left and Right, and only then can one speak of the smooth or rebellious nature of life and death. (Supplementary note: The Classic states the Year Qi is complete. ○ See this in *Liu Yuan Zheng Ji Lun* and *Wu Yun Yun Lun*.) The Emperor asked: The Master says to observe the location of Yin and Yang to regulate them; the discussion says Ren Ying and Cun Kou should correspond, like pulling a rope with equal size, called Peace. (Supplementary note: Cun Kou governs Interior, Ren Ying governs Exterior. They correspond, coming and going together, like a rope. Equal size. In Spring and Summer, Ren Ying slightly larger; in Autumn and Winter, Cun Kou slightly larger—this is called Peace. Foolish opinion: Pulse size corresponding to the Four Seasons is Peace.) How is the Cun Kou at the location of Yin? (At the location of Yin, the pulse is Deep and should not pull the rope equally; its sign is quite abnormal, so I ask to clarify.) Qi Bo said: One can know this by observing whether the year is North or South. Question: I wish to hear it completely. Answer: In a North Polarity year, if Shao Yin is in Quan, then Cun Kou does not respond. (Wood, Water, Metal, Fire Yun face North to receive Qi. All Qi in Quan generally do not show in pulses, except the Qi on their Left and Right are visible. Good Qi in Quan is not seen; bad Qi is seen. Disease is named based on Guest-Master excessive victory. The same applies to Fire Qi.) If Jue Yin is in Quan, then the Right does not respond (Supplementary: Because Shao Yin is on the Right). If Tai Yin is in Quan, then the Left does not respond (Supplementary: Because Shao Yin is on the Left). In a South Polarity year, if Shao Yin is Si Tian, then Cun Kou does not respond. (Earth Yun year, facing South to execute commands, so if Shao Yin is Si Tian, both hands' Cun Kou do not respond.) If Jue Yin is Si Tian, the Right does not respond; if Tai Yin is Si Tian, the Left does not respond (Supplementary: Also follows Left/Right logic). All non-responses become visible if the diagnosis is reversed (All non-responses becoming visible means: Non-response is the normal expectation for the Year Yun's meridian pulse. Now that they are seen, the sign has changed. Change means the non-responsive becomes responsive. Reversing change is the diagnostic method. Wang Bing's note about turning the hand over is incorrect.) Question: How is the Chi pulse? Answer: In a North Polarity year, if the Three Yin are Below, then Cun does not respond; if the Three Yin are Above, then Chi does not respond (Supplementary: Si Tian is Above, Quan is Below). In a South Polarity year, if the Three Yin are in Tian, then Cun does not respond; if the Three Yin are in Quan, then Chi does not respond. Left and Right are the same (Supplementary: Chi non-response logic is identical to Cun non-response). Therefore, he who knows the essence finishes in one word; he who does not know the essence scatters infinitely. This is what is meant. (Supplementary: Essence means knowing the location of Yin and Yang. Knowing allows use without confusion; not knowing leads to floating/sinking and large/small variations in Cun-Chi Qi, changing every three years. Seeking its meaning, how could it not scatter infinitely? Refer to *Zhi Yao Yao Lun*.) The Emperor asked: How is the Mastering Year? Qi Bo said: If Qi has Excess, it controls what it overcomes and insults what it cannot overcome. If Deficient, what it cannot overcome insults and attacks it, and what it overcomes lightly insults it. (Wood Excess controls Earth, neglects Metal because Metal Qi does not contend, so Wood relies on its excess to bully. Also, Wood Deficiency allows Metal to overcome, and Earth insults Wood because Wood is deficient, so Earth tyrannizes. The same for the Four Qi. Insult means arrogance and bullying.) Insulting back receives Evil, lacking fear. (Receiving Evil means receiving Evil from what one cannot overcome. But leaving one's own palace to visit another land, outwardly strong but inwardly weak, Evil wins and Truth weakens, lacking reverence, thus accepting Evil, hence "lacking fear." ○ According to *Liu Jie Zang Xiang Lun*: Arriving early is Excess, thinning what it cannot overcome and attacking what it cannot overcome, called Qi Indulgence. Arriving late is Deficiency, what it overacts wildly, what it generates suffers, what cannot overcome thins it, called Qi Pressure. This is the same meaning. Refer to *Wu Yun Yun Lun*.) The Emperor asked: I wish to hear about the盛衰 (Prosperity and Decline) of the Heavenly Dao's Six-Six segments. (Supplementary: The Classic has raised the question but not elaborated, so I ask again.) Qi Bo said: Up and Down have positions, Left and Right have records. (Supplementary: Up and Down refer to the two Qi governing Heaven and Earth. The remaining four Left and Right Qi are on the sides of the year.) Thus, to the Right of Shao Yang, Yang Ming governs; to the Right of Yang Ming, Tai Yang governs; to the Right of Tai Yang, Jue Yin governs; to the Right of Jue Yin, Shao Yin governs; to the Right of Shao Yin, Tai Yin governs; to the Right of Tai Yin, Shao Yang governs. This is called the Biao of Qi, essentially waiting while facing South. (Supplementary: Biao is the end. The Sage stands facing South to observe the arrival of Qi.) Above Shao Yang, Fire Qi governs, Middle sees Jue Yin (Supplementary: Shao Yang is Southern Fire, so Up sees Fire Qi governing, combining with Jue Yin, hence Middle sees Jue Yin). Above Yang Ming, Dryness Qi governs, Middle sees Tai Yin (Supplementary: Yang Ming is Western Metal, so Up Dryness Qi governs, combining with Tai Yin, hence under Dryness Middle sees Tai Yin). Above Tai Yang, Cold Qi governs, Middle sees Shao Yin (Supplementary: Classic says: Tai Yang arrival is Cold generation, Middle is Warm, consistent with this meaning). Jue Yin governs Wind Qi governing, Middle sees Shao Yang; Above Shao Yin, Fire Qi governs, Middle sees Tai Yang (Supplementary: Shao Yin arrival is Heat generation, Middle is Cold, i.e., this meaning). Above Tai Yin, Dampness Qi governs, Middle sees Yang Ming (Tai Yin is Southwest Earth, so Earth Dampness governs, combining with Yang Ming, hence under Dampness Middle sees Yang Ming). Called the Ben. Under the Ben is the Middle appearance; under the appearance is the Biao of Qi. (Supplementary: Ben is Primal Qi; Qi must be the Master.) Ben and Biao differ, Qi responds with different images. (Supplementary: Ben is the origin of response; Biao is the beginning of disease. Disease generates Form and Function; seeking Biao applies its use; seeking Ben, since Ben and Biao differ, seeking Middle completes the method. ○ According to *Zhi Yao Yao Lun*: Shao Yang and Tai Yin follow Ben; Shao Yin and Tai Yang follow Ben and Biao; Yang Ming and Jue Yin do not follow Ben or Biao but follow Middle. Thus, following Ben transforms from Ben; following Ben/Biao has Ben/Biao transformation; following Middle uses Middle as Qi transformation.) Question: There is arrival with arrival, arrival without arrival, and arrival with Excess. Why? (Supplementary: All refer to Heaven's Six Qi. First Qi starts 15 days before Lichun; the remaining Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Final Qi take turns governing 60 days plus 87.5 ke.) Answer: Arrival with arrival is Harmony; arrival without arrival is Incoming Qi Deficiency; arrival before time is Incoming Qi Excess. (Supplementary: Time arrives and Qi arrives is the response of Peace, indicating a Peaceful Year. For example, in Jia Zi year, Qi is Excess compared to Gui Hai year; before the due time, it arrives early. In Yi Chou year, Qi is Deficient compared to Jia Zi year; at the due time, it arrives late. Hence "Incoming Qi Deficiency" and "Incoming Qi Excess." Speaking of the First Qi arrival period thus: Year Qi Excess, all Six Qi arrive early; Year Qi Deficient, all Six Qi arrive late. Early and late arrivals differ by 13 days respectively. ○ According to *Jin Gui Yao Lue*: There is arrival without arrival, arrival without absence, arrival with Excess. After Winter Solstice, getting Jia Zi midnight, Shao Yang rises, at Shao Yin time, Yang begins to generate, Heaven gets warm. Without getting Jia Zi, Heaven remains warm—this is Arrival without Arrival. Getting Jia Zi but Heaven not warm—this is Arrival without Arrival (Late). Getting Jia Zi but Heaven still very cold—this is Arrival without Absence. Getting Jia Zi but Heaven warm like midsummer—this is Arrival with Excess. This is also one aspect of discussing Qi response.) Question: How about Arrival without Arrival and Arrival before Time? (Supplementary: Discussing Excess and Deficiency, the timing of early or late arrival for the year.) Answer: Responding is Smooth; failing is Rebellious. Rebellious generates Change; Change generates Disease. (Due date is Response; delay is Failure. Heaven and Earth Qi generate and transform endlessly, with no obstruction. Should not have but has, should have but does not have—this is Creation Qi losing normalcy. Losing normalcy causes Qi change; changing normalcy causes Qi and Blood disturbance leading to disease. Heaven and Earth changing and losing normalcy causes all things to suffer disease. Refer to *Liu Wei Zhi Lun*.) The Emperor asked: I wish to hear how Geography responds to the Six Qi and Eight Segments. Qi Bo said: To the Right of Xian Ming is the position of Ruler Fire; to the Right of Ruler Fire, moving backward one step, Ministerial Fire governs. (Sunrise is called Xian Ming, the position of Mao, Qi divides Spring. After Spring Equinox, more than 60 days, Dou builds Mao straight to Si straight, Ruler Fire position. From Dou building Si straight to Wei middle, Third Qi segment, Ministerial Fire governs, called Shao Yang. Ruler Fire position is called Shao Yin Heat division. Heaven degree reaches here, warmth involves Fire movement, residing in Heat division, not performing scorching heat, virtue of Ruler. If Shao Yang resides, it is latent rebellion, Great Heat acts early, epidemics arise. If Yang Ming resides, Warm/Cool irregular, Tai Yang resides Cold between Two, Jue Yin resides Wind/Damp Rain, generating Feathered Creatures. If Shao Yang resides, world pests/epidemics arise because it gets position, Ruler command proclaims. If Tai Yin resides, seasonal rain. Fire has two positions, so Ruler Fire is start of Six Qi. Ministerial Fire is 30 days before and after Summer Solstice, Shao Yang division, Fire position. Heaven degree reaches here, hot Fire moves. If Shao Yang resides, Heat sudden arrival, grass withers, rivers dry,炎亢 Wet transformation late. If Yang Ming resides, Cool Qi intermits, Tai Yang resides Cold Qi intermits, Heat contends Hail. If Jue Yin resides, Wind/Fire moves, Rain/Thunder generates Feathered Creatures. If Shao Yin resides, Great Heat scorching, Tai Yin resides Cloud/Rain/Hail. Retreat means viewing facing South, to the right of position. One step is 60 days and 87.5 ke; remaining Qi same method.) Moving forward one step, Earth Qi governs. (Supplementary: Rain division, i.e., more than 60 days before Autumn Equinox, Dou builds Wei straight to You middle, Fourth Qi. Heaven degree reaches here, Cloud/Rain heavy, Wet steaming arises. If Shao Yang resides, Hot/Irritating boiling, Cloud/Rain/Hail. If Yang Ming resides, Clear Rain/Fog/Dew. If Tai Yang resides, Cold Rain harming things. If Jue Yin resides, Storm/Wind destroying position, Rain generates [Creature]. If Tai Yang resides, Cold/Hot Qi reverse use, Mountain/Swamp floating clouds/Hail/Rain Humid Evaporation. If Tai Yin resides, Heavy Rain continuous.) Moving forward one step, Metal Qi governs. (Supplementary: Dryness division, i.e., more than 60 days after Autumn Equinox, from Dou building You straight to Hai middle, Fifth Qi. Heaven degree reaches here, all things dry. If Shao Yang resides, Warm/Clear correction, all things flourish. If Yang Ming resides, Great Cool/Dry disease. If Tai Yang resides, Early Cold. If Jue Yin resides, Cool Wind great movement, Rain generates Shell Creatures. If Shao Yin resides, Autumn Wet/Heat disease epidemic. If Tai Yin resides, Seasonal Rain deep Yin.) Moving forward one step, Water Qi governs. (Supplementary: Cold division, i.e., 30 days before and after Winter Solstice, to Dou building Hai to Chou middle, Sixth Qi. Heaven degree reaches here, Cold Qi great movement. If Shao Yang resides, Winter Warmth hibernating creatures not hiding, flowing water not freezing. If Yang Ming resides, Dry/Cold sharp/cutting. If Tai Yang resides, Great Cold condensing/freezing. If Jue Yin resides, Wind/Cold flying, Rain generates Scale Creatures. If Shao Yin resides, Hibernating creatures emerging, flowing water not freezing. If Tai Yin resides, Obstructing Yin Cold Snow, Earth Qi wet.) Moving forward one step, Wood Qi governs. (Supplementary: Wind division, i.e., more than 60 days before Spring Equinox. From Dou building Chou straight to Mao middle, First Qi. Heaven degree reaches here, Wind Qi moves, beginning of Heaven/Earth Spirit Command, Heaven's envoy. If Shao Yang resides, Warm Epidemic arrives. If Yang Ming resides, Clear Wind/Fog/Dew朦胧 Pulse. If Tai Yang resides, Cold Wind cutting/fierce, Frost/Snow/Water Ice. If Jue Yin resides, Great Wind flourishing, Rain generates Hairy Creatures. If Shao Yin resides, Hot/Wind hurting people, Seasonal Qi flowing. If Tai Yin resides, Wind/Rain condensing Yin not dispersing.) Moving forward one step, Ruler Fire governs. (Supplementary: Heat division, returning to Spring Equinox start. From Dou building Mao straight to Si middle, Second Qi. These six positions finally govern one year. Six-Six 360 days, Six-Eight 480 ke, Six-Seven 42 ke, remaining half ke divided into three, approximating 365 degrees. Remaining odd parts divided finely can be calculated.) Below Ministerial Fire, Water Qi bears it. (Supplementary: Heat Excess, Water bears. Vines soft/gather/moist/spread, Water image visible. Classic says: Shao Yang arrival is Fire generation, ending in Steaming Moisture, then Water bearing meaning visible.) Below Water position, Earth Qi bears it. (Supplementary: Cold Excess, objects hard, Water ice flows dry, seeing Bearing below clear. Classic says: Tai Yang arrival is Cold Snow/Hail White [Character missing], then Earth bearing meaning visible.) Below Earth position, Wind Qi bears it. (Supplementary:疾风 Recovery, Seasonal Rain falls, thus Warm blown by Wind transforms to Rain. Classic says: Tai Yin arrival is Wet generation, ending in Pouring Rain, then Earth position Wind Qi bearing transforming to Rain. Also says: Tai Yin arrival is Thunder/Lightning Sudden Pouring Violent Wind, then Wind bearing meaning.) Below Wind position, Metal Qi bears it. (Supplementary: Wind moves Air clears, all things dry, Metal bears Wood below, image clear. Classic says: Jue Yin arrival is Wind generation, ending in Orderliness, then Metal bearing meaning visible.) Below Metal position, Fire Qi bears it. (Supplementary: Shrimp/Metal generates Heat, then Fire flows Metal, riding above Fire, reason no absurdity. Classic says: Yang Ming arrival is Scattering/Warm, then Fire riding meaning.) Below Ruler Fire, Yin Essence bears it. (Supplementary: Ruler Fire position, Great Heat does not perform, covered by Yin Essence controlling/bearing below. All bearing with superior Qi below break the Biao Excess, this is Heaven/Earth Creation's main body. Classic says: Shao Yin arrival is Heat generation, ending in Cold, then Yin bearing meaning known. *Liu Yuan Zheng Ji Lun* says: Water erupts Hail/Snow, Earth erupts Gale/Storm, Wood erupts Destruction, Metal erupts Clear/Bright, Fire erupts Smoke/Dark. What Qi causes this? Answer: Qi has more/less, Eruption has slight/severe. Slight matches its Qi, Severe combines its below. Proving its below Qi, image visible. So proving below is these Six Qi bearing Qi.) Question: Why? Answer: Excess causes Harm, Bearing creates Control, Control generates Transformation. Outside listing Prosperity/Decline, Harm causes Disorder, Generating/Transforming Great Disease. (Foolish opinion: Wang Andao said: From Xian Ming Right to Ruler Fire governing, 15 sentences describe positions governed by Six Jie. From Ministerial Fire Below to Yin Essence Bearing, 12 sentences describe Geography responding to
