[Chart of the Chong (Penetrating) Vessel Acupoints] (11 acupoints)
The Chong vessel originates at Henggu (CV12), located on both sides of the umbilicus; Taiyi (SP15), Siman (RN17), and Huangshu (RN17) are situated identically [Note: Text implies alignment or proximity in description, standard texts vary slightly but here translated as per text flow]; Shangqu (ST18), Shiguan (ST19), Yindu (ST20), Tonggu (ST21), and Youmen (RN23) are arranged sequentially, spreading out until reaching the chest, continuing to circulate.
The specific measurements for the acupoints of the Chong vessel can be referenced according to the standards of the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian.
[Chart of the Yang Qiao (Yang Heel) Vessel Acupoints] (11 acupoints)
The acupoints of the Yang Qiao vessel begin at Shenmai (BL62), Pucan (BL63), and Fuyang (BL59), pass through Juliao (GB29), Jianyu (LI15), and Jugu (LI16), pass through Shangguan (ST3), Dicang (ST4), Juliao (ST3), Chengqi (ST1), and finally terminate at Jingming (BL1), where its strength is potent.
Song of Measurements for the Yang Qiao Vessel:
The Yang Qiao vessel originates from the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian; Shenmai (BL62) is hidden five fen below the lateral malleolus; Pucan (BL63) winds around below the calcaneus; Fuyang (BL59) is located three cun above the lateral malleolus; Juliao (GB29) is taken in the depression above the hip bone; Jianyu (LI15) is directly opposite the shoulder apex; ascending above the shoulder is named Jugu (LI16); above the scapula is Shangguan (ST3) [Note: Text says 'Shu' likely referring to Tian宗 BL10 or similar, but literal translation of location]; four fen beside the corner of the mouth is Dicang (ST4); eight fen beside the nose is Juliao (ST3); seven fen below the eye is Chengqi (ST1); one fen outward from the inner canthus is Jingming (BL1).
"Qiao" refers to the foot; those odd vessels involving the foot are named Qiao vessels. "Yang" indicates that it travels along the yang meridians. The Yang Qiao is defined as the divergent branch of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian. It originates from the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, starting from Shenmai (BL62) in the depression five fen below the lateral malleolus of the foot, winding back to Pucan (BL63) below the calcaneus, then slanting forward to Fuyang (BL59) three cun above the lateral malleolus. It then meets with the Foot-Shaoyin Gallbladder Meridian at Juliao (GB29), eight cun three fen below the end of the costal cartilage at the hypochondrium. It further meets with the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian at Jianyu (LI15) on the shoulder tip above the humeral head. It ascends again to Jugu (LI16) between the two forked bones above the shoulder apex. It meets with the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian, Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, and Yang Wei Vessel at Tianzong (BL10) [Text says 'Shu', contextually Tianzong or similar posterior shoulder point], under the large bone behind the shoulder and on the upper edge of the scapula. It meets with the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian and Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian at Dicang (ST4), four fen beside the corner of the mouth. It travels at Juliao (ST3), eight fen beside the nostril. It meets with the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian at Chengqi (ST1), seven fen below the eye. Finally, it meets with the Hand-Taiyang Small Intestine Meridian, Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian, and Yin Qiao Vessel at Jingming (BL1), one fen outside the inner canthus.
