太阳膀胱及小肠，升阳气上三经当。胃经阳明二证取，气下热甚按前行。少阳胆与三焦
证，气上气下分阴阳。太阴脾胃实调气，多取升阳效非常。少阴心肾搓摩法，更须取下要升阳。
厥阴升阳为上用，四逆搓搓要热强。若是老师行此法，免使患者受其殃。
少阳从本为相火，太阴从本湿上坐，厥阴从中火是家，阳明从中湿是我，太阳少阴标本
从，阴阳二气相包裹。风从火断汗之宜，燥与湿兼下之可，万病能将火湿分，彻开轩岐无缝钻。
胆与三焦寻火治，肝与包络都无异，脾肺常将湿处求，胃与大肠同湿治，恶寒表热小肠
湿，恶热表寒心肾炽。十二经中最端的，四经属火四经湿，四经有热有寒时，攻里解表细消息。
湿同寒兮火同热，寒热到头无两说。六经分来分热寒，寒热中停真浪舌。休治风时休治燥，
治得火时风燥了。当解表时休攻里，当攻里时莫解表。表里如或两可攻，后先内外分多少。
敢谢轩岐万世恩，争奈醯鸡笑天小。
朕自今日早朝，会集文武公卿。宣问大臣∶“自从寡人即位以来，闻得在京人死大半，
莫不是寡人无德，致得万民有愆。”班中有一大臣，出班奏曰∶“陛下，为今时人死因，今时之
医医人多死。”皇帝龙颜不悦，又云∶“寡人曾闻先皇帝太宗立医人为长，命斯为贵，而今
时之医医人多死。”故大臣端简，再奏∶
“陛下为甚。今时之医，学不从师，针不按穴，药不根据方，虚而不补，实而不泻。针能
主表，药能主里，针药并行；方可为医，倚功全济。凡医人一要识字，二要晓阴阳，三通运气
，谓之明医。医不识字，不晓阴阳，不通阴阳，谓之盲医。药不别认新陈，亦不知反。误治
男子如治妇人，治妇人如治小儿。医不三世，不服其药。更兼世人有药，预先不肯求医，及
致病根源深，方才出手求医；倘又不遇良医，病家不舍资财，医家坚执古方，或云出于远方
而难求索，人命已失，永无再生之理。所谓差之毫厘，谬以千里，不诚然。”奏奉圣旨，天
下寻访明医，钦选擢官前查。钦奉太祖高皇帝。
圣旨∶差令御史申贵，前往虎口龙潭洞，访见《琼瑶真人神书》三卷。令侍郎张忠学习
，神书三卷千金不传。
圣旨∶若有军民曾习琼瑶真人气上、气下、盘盘针法者，许令太医院，免其本家差役二
丁，免习《铜人》。
圣旨∶差令丞相同太医院官，考注三百六十余穴。又差尚书况青，同考气上、气下手指
之法。

太阳膀胱经与小肠经，提升阳气需在三阳经中选取。胃经阳明经的两个证候要取穴，气机下行、热势严重时按逆时针方向操作。少阳胆经与三焦经的证候，气机上逆或下陷需分辨阴阳。太阴脾经与胃经实证调理气机，多采用升阳手法效果非凡。少阴心经与肾经用搓摩法治疗，更须配合取下（下部穴位）以助升阳。厥阴经提升阳气用于上部病症，四逆汤类方剂配合搓摩需热力强劲。若是老师施行此法，可免除患者遭受灾殃。
少阳经从本为相火，太阴经从本湿土为主，厥阴经从中见火为家，阳明经从中见湿为我，太阳经与少阴经标本同气，阴阳二气相互包裹。风邪从火断绝适宜发汗，燥邪与湿邪兼夹适宜攻下，若能分清万病中的火与湿，便能透彻开启轩岐医学无缝之钻。
胆经与三焦经寻火邪治疗，肝经与心包络都无差异，脾经与肺经常在湿处求治，胃经与大肠经同用湿治法，恶寒表热属小肠湿，恶热表寒属心肾炽盛。十二经脉中最确切的规律是：四经属火，四经属湿，四经有热有寒之时，攻里解表需细细斟酌。湿邪同于寒邪，火邪同于热邪，寒热至极没有两样说法。六经分来分热寒，寒热中停真是白费舌唇。不要治风时去治燥，治得火邪时风燥自了。当解表时不要攻里，当攻里时不要解表。表里如或两者皆可攻，先后内外分多少。敢谢轩岐万世恩，争奈醯鸡笑天小。

Taiyang Bladder and Small Intestine channels, to raise Yang Qi, one should select points on the three Yang channels. For two syndromes of Stomach Yangming channel, when Qi descends and heat is severe, press in the forward direction. For Shaoyang Gallbladder and Sanjiao channel syndromes, distinguish Yin and Yang for ascending or descending Qi. For Taoyin Spleen and Stomach excess patterns regulating Qi, frequently using raising Yang methods yields extraordinary effects. For Shaoyin Heart and Kidney, use rubbing and kneading methods, and it is necessary to select lower points to assist raising Yang. For Jueyin channel, raising Yang is used for upper body conditions; Si Ni (Four Reversals) combined with rubbing requires strong heat. If teachers practice these methods, they can spare patients from suffering disasters.
Shaoyang follows the root as Ministerial Fire, Taoyin follows the root with Dampness sitting prominently, Jueyin follows the middle with Fire as its home, Yangming follows the middle with Dampness as itself, Taiyang and Shaoyin follow both root and branch, Yin and Yang Qi wrap each other. Wind broken by Fire indicates suitability for sweating, Dryness combined with Dampness indicates suitability for purging. If one can distinguish Fire and Dampness in ten thousand diseases, one can thoroughly open the seamless drill of Xuanti and Qiji.
Gallbladder and Sanjiao seek Fire treatment, Liver and Pericardium are no different, Spleen and Lung often seek Dampness, Stomach and Large Intestine treat with Dampness together, aversion to cold with exterior heat belongs to Small Intestine Dampness, aversion to heat with exterior cold belongs to Heart and Kidney blazing. Among the twelve channels, the most definitive rule is: four channels belong to Fire, four channels belong to Dampness, four channels have Heat and Cold; attacking interior and releasing exterior must be carefully considered. Dampness is same as Cold, Fire is same as Heat, extreme Cold and Heat have no two sayings. Dividing Six Channels into Heat and Cold, stopping at mid-Cold and mid-Heat is truly wasted speech. Do not treat Wind when treating Dryness, when Fire is treated, Wind and Dryness resolve themselves. When releasing exterior, do not attack interior; when attacking interior, do not release exterior. If exterior and interior can both be attacked, distinguish quantity based on sequence and inside/outside. I dare thank Xuanti and Qiji for their grace for ten thousand generations, but alas, vinegar jar chickens laugh at the small heaven.
Since my early court session today, I gathered civil and military officials. I asked the ministers: "Since I ascended the throne, I have heard that more than half of the people in the capital have died. Could it be that I lack virtue, causing all people to have faults?" A minister stepped out of the ranks and reported: "Your Majesty, the reason people die nowadays is that doctors nowadays cause many deaths." The Emperor's dragon countenance was displeased, and he said again: "I once heard that the late Emperor Taizong established doctors as leaders, valuing life highly, yet nowadays doctors cause many deaths." Thus, the minister stood upright and simple, and reported again: "Your Majesty, why? Doctors nowadays do not learn from masters, acupuncture does not follow acupoints, medication does not follow prescriptions, deficiency is not tonified, excess is not drained. Acupuncture governs the exterior, medication governs the interior; acupuncture and medication practiced together; only then can one be called a doctor, relying on merit to fully benefit. Any doctor must first know characters, second understand Yin and Yang, third master Yunqi (Qi movement), called a enlightened doctor. A doctor who does not know characters, does not understand Yin and Yang, does not comprehend Yin and Yang, is called a blind doctor. Medication not distinguishing new and old, nor knowing contraindications. Mistreating men as if treating women, treating women as if treating children. One should not take medicine from a doctor whose family has not practiced for three generations. Furthermore, when people have illness, they initially refuse to seek a doctor; only when the root of disease runs deep do they finally seek medical help; if they still do not meet a good doctor, the patient's family refuses to spend money, the doctor insists on ancient prescriptions, or claims they come from distant places and are hard to obtain, human life is lost, with no chance of rebirth. It is said that a miss is as good as a mile, how could this not be true?" This memorial was submitted to the Imperial Decree: search the world for enlightened doctors, inspect before appointing officials. Respectfully receiving the decree of Emperor Taizu Gao.
Imperial Decree: Order Censor Shen Gui to go to Hukou Longtan Cave, to visit and find the "Qiongyao Zhenren Divine Book" in three volumes. Order Vice Minister Zhang Zhong to study it; the three volumes of the Divine Book are not transmitted for a thousand gold.
Imperial Decree: For any military or civilian who has practiced Qiongyao Zhenren's Qi Ascending, Qi Descending, and Panpan needle methods, allow the Imperial Medical Bureau to exempt two able-bodied men from their household corvée, and exempt them from studying the "Bronze Man".
Imperial Decree: Order Chancellor together with Imperial Medical Bureau officials to examine and annotate over 360 acupoints. Also order Minister Kuang Qing to examine together the finger methods for Qi Ascending and Qi Descending.

Imperial Decree: Order Chancellor Hu Zhi concurrently with Imperial Medical Bureau to examine abdominal Panpan, rubbing, and following reverse/forward methods.
Imperial Decree: Order Imperial Medical Bureau official Liu [Name Missing] to examine together scraping, trembling, lifting, and pressing agreement methods, requiring proficiency.
Imperial Decree: Order Imperial Medical Bureau officials Huang [Name Missing] and Vice Minister Zhang Zhong to examine together grasping, flicking, rubbing, and searching appropriate methods.
Left Censor-in-Chief Liu Zihe outside the Huagai Hall respectfully received the Imperial Decree, immediately told Grand Preceptor Liu Daben, to abide by the secret methods and divine words passed down orally and through heart transmission of Qiongyao, not to leak them to the world for personal gain, in preparation for appointment and promotion.
