There was a person suffering from Xi disease (epilepsy). Upon onset, he would stiffen and fall to the ground, remaining unconscious for a long time before reviving. I surmised this was caused by excessive mental exertion, so I moxibusted Baihui (GV20). I also suspected it was caused by Phlegm-Jue leading to stiffness and falling, so I moxibusted Zhongguan (Zhongwan, CV12). His condition improved slightly but was not cured. Later, while reading *Mai Jue*, I encountered Houtong Zhenzi's advice on nurturing children and carefully protecting Fengchi (GB20). When people came to me for moxibustion treatment for epilepsy, I would always press the Fengchi acupoint; all responded with soreness and pain upon pressing. Having them moxibust this point led to recovery. (Pediatric epilepsy might also be treated by moxibusting this point.)
