The Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian starts at Jiquan (HT1). Between the tendons in the axilla, where the artery pulses and can lead to the blue vessels on the chest, Qingling (HT4) is located three cun above the elbow. Shaohai (HT3) is provided at five fen inside the medial end of the transverse cubital crease when the elbow is flexed. Lingdao (HT4) is one and a half cun behind the palm.
Tongli (HT5) is traced one cun behind the wrist. Yinxi (HT6) is half a cun behind the wrist. Shenmen (HT7) is in the depression posterior to the prominent styloid process of the ulna (pisiform bone). Shaofu (HT8) is at the terminal end of the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint. Shaochong (HT9) is taken on the radial side of the little finger, beside the corner of the nail.
(From the hand to the head, thirty-eight acupoints on each side)
Shaose (SI1) is at the outer end of the little finger. Qian Gu (SI2) is seen on the lateral side anterior to the metacarpophalangeal joint. Hou Xi (SI3) is taken at the transverse crease posterior to the metacarpophalangeal joint. Wanggu (SI4) is on the lateral side of the depression anterior to the wrist bone. Yanggu (SI5) is in the depression below the prominent styloid process of the ulna. Yanglao (SI20) is named one cun above the wrist. Zhizheng (SI7) is measured five cun behind the wrist. Xiaohai (SI8) is good at five fen from the end of the elbow. Jianzhen (SI9) is in the depression posterior to the shoulder tip. Bingfeng (SI12) has an empty space when raising the shoulder. Qu Yuan (SI13) is inside the curved scapula. Waiguan (Note: Text likely implies a point near scapula, possibly Jianjing or similar contextually, but literally "outer scapula one cun up") follows one cun above the lateral scapula.
