It is also said: Transmission following the generation cycle of the Five Elements leads to survival; transmission following the overcoming cycle leads to death. ○ Generation cycle: Metal generates Water, Water generates Wood, Wood generates Fire, Fire generates Earth, Earth generates Metal. Overcoming cycle: Metal overcomes Wood, Wood overcomes Earth, Earth overcomes Water, Water overcomes Fire, Fire overcomes Metal.
It is also said: On the first day, treat Fengfu (GV16); on the second day, treat Sanjian (LI3); on the third day, treat Zhongzhu (TE3) and Linqi (GB41); on the fourth day, treat Shaoshang (LU11) and Yinbai (SP1); on the fifth day, treat Shenmen (HT7) and Taixi (KI3); on the sixth day, treat Lingdao (HT4), Zhongfeng (LR4), and Jianshi (PC5).

Bleeding is equivalent to sweating.
Toad plague: After military conflicts, pervasive killing energy touches and injures people, causing intense epidemic heat, swollen and blocked throat, lockjaw, inability to speak or eat, swelling under the chin resembling a toad's throat, gasping breath, death on the third day, hence called Toad plague. Its heat is contagious; it may manifest as Big Head Plague, or infect healthy individuals leading to sudden qi collapse, or cause severe swelling and death from heat. Urgently use a three-edged needle to pierce the Yang blood collaterals on the forehead and the Taiyang blood collaterals, releasing much evil blood. Then tie a thin thread below the shoulders, immediately needle the large and small blood collaterals at Chize (LU5) bilaterally and the blood collaterals at Weizhong (BL40), discarding blood like feces, then drinking water returns within a few days, miraculous effect.
