Full-body distending pain, complexion dark and dusty like covered in soot, black spots on the body, indicating toxin has entered the Zang-Fu organs. Qi stagnation and blood coagulation result in unbearable pain. Use Jinqi Wan (apply fresh ginger juice to the corner of the eye externally: left for males, right for females; recovery occurs upon sweating).
Decoctions are vomited immediately upon entering the mouth. Crush Fulonggan (Caulis Longan? No, *Fulonggan* is Hearth Earth / *Longus Gan* - actually *Fulonggan* is 灶心土/伏龙肝, dried earth from the center of a cooking stove) with water, let it settle, and drink the supernatant to stop vomiting. Decoct medicines using this water. Use Jinsifang.
Watery diarrhea occurring without limit in frequency. Do not use purgatives, nor astringents. Only employ the method of separating and regulating Yin and Yang. Use Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) removing Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig); replace Baizhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) with Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), and add Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen) and Mutong (Akebiae Caulis) etc.
Sudden severe pain, fainting instantly, death within moments. Urgently perform Fangsha (bloodletting/scraping therapy) and Guasha (scraping therapy). Adminish Dishasha Wan (Toxin-Clearing Sha Pill), which can also save life.
For slow-onset Sha disease, death may occur in ten days or half a month, or even after three to four months. Rapid treatment is essential; delay allows Sha toxin to spread and knot. Internally, Zang-Fu organs are damaged first; in the meridians, they are impaired first; at the surface, muscles ulcerate first. If treatment is missed, it becomes a fatal condition.
In initial Sha attacks, pathogenic factors are strong while Yuanqi (Original Qi) is weak. Attacks may recur every ten days, or eventually monthly, due to originally weak Stomach Qi. After Sha recedes, use Mubafang to tonify Stomach Qi, thereby cutting off the Sha disease.
Sudden fainting and falling is caused by Sha toxin attacking. Toxic blood rushing will damage Zang-Fu organs. Toxic blood combined with food retention, phlegm turbidity, and Qi obstruction knots in the chest, diaphragm, abdomen, and epigastrium. Meridians fail to circulate, and Qi and Blood are blocked. Although scraping/bloodletting is attempted, Sha cannot emerge. Treatment: Observe whether the cause is food retention, phlegm-blood stasis, Qi obstruction, summerheat, latent heat, or filth/toxicity. Urgently administer medicine to dissipate these. Wait until the chest/diaphragm relaxes and coma resolves, then examine tendons for acupuncture. Use Jinbafang and Shiyiwan.
Severe colicky pain in the heart and abdomen, feeling hard as a board, twisting like a rope, pulling like a tendon, piercing like an awl, or cutting like a knife. Mild cases have slight colicky pain and extreme distension/stuffiness. Fangsha can cure this. If ineffective, carefully examine pulse and symptoms to differentiate between Summerheat, Filth, Food Retention, Blood-Stasis, or Phlegm-Turbidity obstructions. Administer several doses continuously. Once slightly stabilized, gradual regulation can begin (Shier to Shibafang).
A woman suffered critical colicky pain. Scraping/bloodletting failed. Right hand pulse was hidden/faint. Performed thirty needle pricks for Fangsha. Administered Shi'er Mo (powder), Jinbawan, taken with clear tea. Also administered Shisanfang. She fell into a deep sleep and recovered.
A woman vomited saliva and phlegm, suffering abdominal colicky pain. Scraping provided slight relief, but medicine was ineffective. The next day, she became comatose with severe pain. First, prick fingers to bleed. Administer Shisi Mo washed down with Amomi Fructus decoction. Also use Jin-yifang added with Danshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Shandougen (Sophorae Tonkinensis Radix), Qiancao (Rubiae Cordifoliae Radix), Yinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), Shanzha (Crataegi Fructus), and Buzi (Radish Seed), after which she stabilized.
A man suffered Pan Chang (coiled intestine) colicky pain with a hidden pulse. After scraping, he improved slightly using Shiwufang and Shiliufang. At dusk, he screamed again with colicky pain. He recovered after using Shiqifang and Shibafang.
