荸荠半个，贴患处过夜，次晚再贴。五六次其茧连根脱出。
又方∶葱头、荸荠，共捣汁一碗煎。再用松香四两，麻油半斤，熬至滴水成珠，方入前
汁摊膏药，粘贴即落。
又方∶用蜈蚣一条，硼砂等分，放钟内拌匀，埋地七日取出，银簪点上，即脱。
真乌梅肉捣烂，入醋少许，加盐水调匀贴之，自消。

取真正的乌梅肉捣烂，加入少许醋，加盐水调匀后贴敷，老茧自然消除。
又一个方子：用一个荸荠和一钱荞麦面，共同捣融，贴敷一昼夜，老茧自然脱落。
又一个方子：取活蜈蚣用香油浸泡一两天，取出捣烂敷于患处过夜，老茧根部即被拔出，且不再复发。此法也能治疗蛀发癣。
又一个方子：乳香一钱、轻粉五分、黄丹（水飞净）三分、生橄榄核三个（烧枯存性），共同研成细末。
又一个方子：满天星（又名遍地金钱，又名破铜钱，生长在台阶缝隙及花盆上），捣烂浓敷一日一夜，老茧根部……（原文此处似有缺漏，意为去除）。
细辛、防风、白芷、草乌各等分，共同研成细末。凡是准备远行的人，先将鞋底内部用水微微喷湿，将此药均匀撒在鞋内，即使每天行走数百里，脚也不会肿痛。
Take half a *Dioscorea opposita* (Water Chestnut, 荸荠), apply it to the affected area overnight, and continue applying it on the second night. After five or six applications, the corn will detach from the root.
Another prescription: Crush scallion bulbs and *Dioscorea opposita* together to obtain one bowl of juice, then decoct it. Take four taels of Rosin (松香) and half a jin of Sesame Oil (麻油), boil until a drop forms a bead when cooled in water. Then add the aforementioned juice and spread it onto plaster. Apply to the lesion, and the corn will fall off.
Another prescription: Use one centipede (*Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans*, 蜈蚣) and an equal amount of Borax (硼砂). Mix them well in a clay pot, bury underground for seven days, then take out. Dab with a silver hairpin, and the corn will detach.
Mash the flesh of true *Prunus mume* (Chinese Plum, 真乌梅肉). Add a little vinegar and salt water, mix evenly, and apply to the area. The corn will naturally disappear.
Another prescription: Take one *Dioscorea opposita* and one qian of Buckwheat Flour (荞面). Mash them together into a paste, apply to the site for one day and night, and it will fall off naturally.
Another prescription: Soak a live centipede in Sesame Oil (香油) for one or two days. Remove, mash, and apply to the affected area overnight. The root will be pulled out, preventing recurrence. This also treats tinea capitis caused by fungal infection (蛀发癣).
Another prescription: One qian of Frankincense (乳香), five fen of Calomel (轻粉), three fen of Red Lead (黄丹, purified by water levigation), and three raw olive pits (烧枯存性, carbonized but retaining properties). Grind all into a fine powder.
Another prescription: *Aster indicus* (also known as "Full Sky Stars", "Money Everywhere", or "Broken Copper Coins", growing in cracks of steps and flower pots). Mash into a thick paste and apply for one day and night; the root is removed.
Another prescription: Grind *Cortex Lycii* (地骨皮) and *Flos Carthami* (Red Safflower, 红花) into a fine powder and apply to the lesion. It heals immediately.
Another prescription: Apply plasters made with Lu Sha (卤砂膏药) produced in Beijing. This can also remove the root cause.
Another prescription: Chew raw white radish (*Raphanus sativus*, 生白萝卜) into a mud-like paste and apply to the area. It provides miraculous pain relief.
Another prescription: Apply Catfish Plaster (鲫鱼膏). It is extremely effective.
Mix raw ash flour (生灰面) with water to form a paste, apply overnight, and the swelling/corn will flatten.
Equal parts of *Radix Asari* (细辛), *Saposhnikovia Root* (防风), *Angelica Dahurica* (白芷), and *Aconitum Kusnezoffii* (草乌). Grind into a fine powder. For those preparing for long-distance walking, slightly moisten the inside of the shoe sole with water, sprinkle this powder evenly inside. Even if walking hundreds of li per day, the feet will not swell or hurt.
Another prescription: Radish Seeds (萝卜子, stir-fried and ground) and Alum (白矾, ground). Spread these evenly inside the shoe sole. Feet will not hurt during long journeys; extremely effective.
Wash feet several times with decoction of radish (萝菔煎水). It cures the condition.
Two qian of Raw Aconite (生附子) and three qian of good yeast/ferment (好酒曲). Grind into powder, mix with appropriate liquid, and apply to the sole of the foot (Yongquan area). Very wonderful effect.
