If there is a sensation of a tortoise or turtle-like foreign body in the abdomen, accompanied by pain and hardness, which may move or remain still, use one qian (approx. 3-5g) of powder of *Bombyx Batryticatus* (Jiangcan, 僵蚕), mixed with one to two bowls of urine from a white horse, taken orally. Apply externally to the painful area; this yields miraculous results.
Another prescription: Take the slag formed in a lime kiln (those that are red and light in texture are preferred), mix with rapeseed oil, and apply externally. It will dissipate after a few days.
Another prescription: Take four fen (approx. 1.2-1.5g) of Lead Carbonate (Qianfen, 铅粉), mixed with soup made from broomcorn millet (*Setaria italica*, Shumi, 黍米), taken orally. This is highly effective.
Another prescription: Take powder of native sulfur (Sheng Liuhuang, 生硫黄), mixed with wine for oral administration. Administer regularly.
Another prescription: Take one white hen, fast it for one day, then feed it fried rice cooked with lard. Collect its feces, bake them until dry, grind into powder, mix with water, and take one qian daily. Administer three times a day; recovery is certain within a few days.
Another prescription: Eat raw shrimp, twice a day. After a few days, the root cause will be eliminated.
In spring and autumn, sperm from dragons, vipers, or lizards may fall into celery. If humans accidentally consume this, they become ill. Upon onset, symptoms resemble epilepsy (Xianzheng, 痫证), with a bluish-yellow complexion, abdominal distension and fullness, and unbearable pain. Consume glutinous rice candy frequently. After consuming several jin (approx. 0.5kg per jin), if small worms are vomited out, the patient recovers. Do not use this method if roundworms (Hui Chong, 蛔虫) are vomited.
Another prescription: Take five qian each of Realgar (Ming Xiong, 明雄) and Mirabilite (Puxiao, 朴硝), mixed with boiling water and taken orally. Recovery occurs through diarrhea.
Another prescription: Cook porridge with glutinous rice, aromatic glutinous rice, almonds, and milk curd. Eat three times a day. If a dragon is vomited and has two heads, this confirms efficacy.
A patient presented with abdominal distension and a yellowish face, unresponsive to various medicines. A skilled physician diagnosed it as "Stone Roundworm" (Shi Hui, 石蛔), stating it was extremely difficult to treat. The patient was given water boiled from a pillow found in a dead person's coffin. Several sheng (approx. 1 liter per sheng) of stone-hard roundworms were vomited out, leading to recovery.
This condition presents with a sallow and emaciated complexion, reduced appetite, abdominal pain upon onset, and vomiting of clear fluid. Use one liang (approx. 30-37g) of sharp Areca Nut (Jian Binglang, 尖槟榔) and five qian of Guangmu Xiang (Bark of *Litsea cubeba*, 广木香), ground into an extremely fine powder. Adults take five qian per dose, children take three qian per dose, mixed with boiling water and taken orally. The worms will be expelled with the stool. Before taking the medicine, boil and fry aromatic herbs for the patient to inhale the scent, then administer the medicine. This is invariably effective. Administration must occur at the beginning of the lunar month for best results. Severe cases recover after two or three doses.
Another prescription: Crush old scallion bulbs with roots, extract the juice, and take mixed with sesame oil. Alternatively, eat fried scallion bulbs, which can transform worms into water.
Another prescription: Take seven Torreya seeds (Feizi, 榧子), twice a day. After seven days, the worms transform into water.
Another prescription: Take one duck egg, make a small hole, insert one qian of minced seed of *Quisqualis indica* (Shijunzi, 使君子) and one qian of Areca Nut powder. Seal with paper, steam, and eat. The worms will be expelled with the stool.
Another prescription: The Sheep Urinary Bladder prescription from the miscellaneous treatment section of pediatrics is most effective for treating infantile malnutrition (Gan Ji, 疳疾) and also treats worm diseases in adults.
