Bo Gao, continuing the discussion on "Qi Acupoints" from the previous section, proceeds to elaborate on Qi Fu (Acupoints where Qi gathers). The meridians of the three Yang channels of the hand and foot are governed by the Six Fu Organs. Therefore, the acupoints where meridian Qi emerges are called Qi Fu. The three Yang channels of the hand and foot, combined with the Du Mai (Governing Vessel), Ren Mai (Conception Vessel), and Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel), total 365 acupoints, corresponding to the number of days in a year. This serves to connect with the discussion on Qi Acupoints and supplement its未尽 (incomplete) meaning.
The acupoints where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Channel emerges: 76 points.
(Note: Old editions erroneously read "eight" instead of "seven"; corrected here.) The Foot-Taiyang Bladder is the water organ; the acupoints where its Qi emerges refer to those points where the Qi of the Foot-Taiyang meridian diverges.
One point at each inner canthus. From the hairline entering the vertex, extending three cun and half, five rows laterally, spaced three cun apart. The floating Qi within the skin comprises five rows, five points per row, totaling twenty-five points.
(Note: "Ding" (Vertex) was erroneously written as "Xiang" (Nape) in old editions; corrected. "Hang" (Row) is pronounced "Hang". "Ding" refers to Baihui (GV20). The one point at each inner canthus is Zanzhu (BL1). From Zanzhu into the hairline to Qian Ding (GV21), there are Shenting (GV24), Shangxing (GV23), and Xinhui (GV22), hence the length is three cun and half. At Qian Ding, there is a central row, two inner lateral rows, and two outer lateral rows, hence "five rows laterally." This means from the center to the side, there are five rows. Within these five rows, left and right are spaced three cun apart. Clarifying the "five rows laterally," it refers to the floating Qi of the Foot-Taiyang channel in the skin, comprising five rows, five points per row, totaling twenty-five points. Among these twenty-five points: the central row has Qian Ding (GV21), Baihui (GV20), Houding (GV19), Jiangjian (GV18), and Naohu (GV17), five points. The next two rows have Wuchu (BL1), Chengguang (BL2), Tongtian (BL3), Luoque (BL4), and Yuzhen (BL9), ten points bilaterally. The next two rows have Zhengying (GB16), Chengling (GB17), Naokong (GB18), Qiaoyin (GB19), and Wanggu (GB12), ten points bilaterally. Totaling twenty-five points, plus the two Zanzhu (BL1), Shenting (GV24), Shangxing (GV23), and Xinhui (GV22), makes thirty points in total.

Dazhui (GV14), Taodao (GV13), Shenzhu (GV12), Shendao (GV11), Lingtai (GV10), Zhiyang (GV12 - note: text lists Zhiyang, likely GV9 or similar, standard is Zhiyang GV9), Jinsuo (GV8), Jizhong (GV7), Xuanshu (GV6), Mingmen (GV4), Yangguan (EX-B7), Yaoshu (GV2), Changqiang (GV1), and bilateral Huiyang (BL35), fifteen points total. From Dazhui (GV14) to below the sacrum, twenty-one vertebral segments. The Du Mai governs the posterior, serving as the method for the spine, supplementing the未尽 meaning of Qi Fu.
The acupoints where the Qi of the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) emerges: 28 points.
The Ren Mai runs along the anterior body. Regarding Qi Fu governing the body form, there is the Ren Mai, whose emerging Qi also totals twenty-eight points.
Two points in the center of the throat.
Lianquan (CV23) is above the center of the throat. Tiantu (CV22) is below the center of the throat. Two points.
One point each in the bony depression of the chest midline.
Yingzhong refers to the midline of the chest. In the bony depression are Xuanji (CV15), Huagai (CV19), Zigong (CV18), Yutang (CV17), Danzhong (CV17 - note: text lists Danzhong separately, likely distinct points in this context or error, standard is Danzhong CV17), and Zhongting (CV24? No, Zhongting is not standard Ren Mai, likely refers to specific points listed: Xuanji, Huagai, Zigong, Yutang, Danzhong, Zhongting). Six points.
One point every cun from three cun below Jiwei (CV15), five cun at the stomach cavity, from the stomach cavity down to Henggu (CV11), six cun and half one point, this is the method of abdominal meridians.
Three cun below Jiwei (CV15): from below Jiwei (CV15) are Juque (CV14), Shangwan (CV13), and Zhongwan (CV12), corresponding to three cun. Five cun at the stomach cavity: from Shangwan (CV13) to the umbilicus (CV12) are Zhongwan (CV12), Jianli (CV11), Xiawan (CV10), Shuifen (CV9), and Umbilicus (CV12), five points corresponding to five cun. "Stomach cavity down" refers to the umbilicus. From the umbilicus to Henggu (CV11) bilaterally are Yinjiao (CV13), Qihai (CV6), Shimai (CV5), Guanyuan (CV4), and Zhongji (CV3). Five points, five cun. Zhongji (CV3) to Henggu (CV11) is about one cun and half, corresponding to six cun and half one fen. From Jiwei (CV15) to bilateral Henggu (CV11), fifteen points total. The Ren Mai governs the anterior, serving as the method for the midline abdominal meridian, also supplementing the未尽 meaning of Qi Fu.
One separate point below the Yin.
Below the Yin anteriorly is Huiyin (CV1). "Bie Yi" means distinct from the previous Henggu (CV11), not connecting to Huiyin (CV1), but a single point from Qugu (CV2) to Huiyin (CV1).
One point below each eye.
Chengqi (ST1), bilateral.
One point on the lower lip.
Chengjiang (CV24), one point.
One point at Yinjiao.
Intersection of the Ren Mai in the gum slit, hence Yinjiao. The above Ren Mai emerging points total twenty-eight.
The acupoints where the Qi of the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel) emerges: 22 points.
The Chong Mai and Ren Mai both originate in the Baozhong (uterus/womb). Regarding Qi Fu governing the body form, there is the Chong Mai, whose emerging Qi totals twenty-two points.
Half cun outside Jiawei (CV15) bilaterally, one point per cun to the umbilicus; five fen beside the umbilicus down to Henggu (CV11), one point per cun, this is the method of abdominal meridians.
"Cun Yi" means one cun. "Wu Fen" is half cun. Parallel to both sides of Jiawei (CV15), opening half cun. To both sides of the umbilicus are Youmen (KI15), Tonggu (KI16), Yindu (KI17), Shiguan (KI18), Shangqu (KI19), and Mingxu (KI16). The distance between these points is approximately one cun. Mingxu (KI16) is exactly beside the umbilicus. Parallel to both sides below the umbilicus, opening five fen, down to Henggu (CV11), are Zhongzhu (KI20), Siman (KI21), Qixue (KI22), Dahe (KI23), and Henggu (KI11). The distance between these points is also one cun. Parallel to both sides of Jiawei (CV15) down to Henggu (CV11), twenty-two points bilaterally. The Chong Mai runs parallel to the Ren Mai, serving as the method for the two central lines of the abdomen.
One point each for the Foot-Shaoyin tongue base, the Jueyin pubic hair region, and Jimai (LV1).
This cites the Foot-Shaoyin and Jueyin meridians to explain that the Foot-Shaoyin combines with the Ren Mai, and the Foot-Jueyin combines with the Du Mai, and the Ren and Du intersect. Foot-Shaoyin tongue base is Lianquan (CV23). Jueyin in the pubic hair region is Qugu (CV2). Foot-Shaoyin combines with the Ren Mai and intersects the Du Mai, entering Yinjiao (DU28) from Lianquan (CV23), intersecting the Du Mai. Foot-Jueyin combines with the Du Mai and intersects the Ren Mai, going from Changqiang (GV1) to Qugu (CV2), intersecting the Ren Mai. Up and down intersecting, Qi flows without pause, hence "Ji Mai" (Urgent Pulse). Lianquan (CV23) under the tongue and Qugu (CV2) in the pubic hair, one point each, two points total.
One point each for the Hand-Shaoyin, and one point each for the Yin and Yang Qiao vessels.
This cites the Hand-Shaoyin and Foot-Qiao vessels to explain that the Yin and Yang meridians of the hand and foot are all Qi Fu, and hand meridian points originate in the hand, while foot meridian points originate in the foot.
Hand-Shaoyin is the Heart Meridian. The Heart Meridian originates in the heart, follows the little finger, exits Shaochong (HT9) at its tip. Shaochong (HT9) bilaterally, one point each. Two points total. The Yin Qiao vessel originates in the foot...
