Xiaobian Du (Toxic Urinary Swelling) arises on the glans penis, which is the main control center of the Kidney Meridian in the human body. It is also known as Bian Fa (Genital Abscess). It is caused by excessive indulgence in alcohol and sexual activity, leading to extreme heat flowing into the Lower Jiao (Lower Burner), or by contracting a vaginal ulcer from a woman, or by engaging in intercourse during menstruation. Although the causes differ, the harm is the same, and this condition is difficult to treat with divine prescriptions. At the initial stage, use Zihua Diding (Viola Yedoensis), Shexiang (Musk) 3-4 fen, and one slice of Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger), decocted in one bowl of water, taken on an empty stomach for miraculous effect. If accompanied by swelling and pain in the urethra, Muxiang Liqi Yin (Wood Fragrance Qi-Circulating Decoction) and Binglang Zhuodu Yin (Areca Nut Poison-Chasing Decoction) are suitable. If dryness and ulceration occur, topical application is also appropriate; otherwise, pus and blood will block the urethral orifice, causing unbearable swelling.

Soak together in wine, pound into a paste, and apply topically.
Seven-Ingredient Topical Formula

Grind into fine powder together. Melt Huangla (Yellow Beeswax) and Baila (White Beeswax), spread the mixture on oil paper to wrap the medicinal powder, and apply it to the glans penis for excellent effect.
Trial Effective Formula
Use Shuifen (Lead Subcarbonate), Si Liu Pian (likely a specific preparation or mineral), Ercha (Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus), mixed with Huercao (Saxifraga Stolonifera) juice for application. Another formula adds Songxiang (Colophonium), another adds Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), and another adds Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum).
Jiaobei Fa (Dorsal Foot Abscess) arises on the dorsum of the foot, between the bones and tendons, and belongs to the Foot Shaoyin (Kidney Meridian). It is more severe than Shou Fa (Hand Abscess). It is formed by the struggle between Damp-Heat and Blood Stasis. It may result from barefoot contact with snake or insect venom, trauma breaking the skin, or contact with filth. At the initial stage, Tiegu San (Iron Hoof Powder) should be used (formula seen previously), followed by subsequent medications, then Wanning Gao (Ten Thousand Spirits Ointment) to drain pus, and finally Shengji San (Flesh-Generating Powder) to close the wound.
