Continuation of various effective prescriptions for treating sores:
When sores appear in the cluster of eyebrows in children and ooze without drying up, it is called Lianyin Chuang (Chain Silver Sore). Use the scales from the forelimbs of Shanjiapia (Manis Squama), roast them until charred, grind into powder, add a small amount of Qingfen (Calamina or Lead Powder), and mix with Qingyou (Pure Oil) to apply externally.
For ears that develop sores due to frostbite, internally administer Fangfeng Tongsheng San (Wind-Proof Universal Release Powder), and externally use Qianfen (Lead Powder). Grind the lead powder finely with water, crush Aiye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium) until soft, burn it until black, grind into powder, and apply externally.
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Boheye (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma - stir-fried), Shanzhiren (Gardeniae Semen), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba - nodes removed), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Huashi (Talcum), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), add Gegen (Puerariae Lobatae Radix), with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) as a guide drug.
When sores appear on the body like millet grains, forming lumps or tracks with extreme pain, this is named Longchan Chuang (Dragon Coiling Sore). Take Zhenzhu (Margarita), Fengweicao (Pteridii Multifidi Herba), crush to extract juice, and apply. Also, mix the dregs with Qingyou (Pure Oil) and apply; this is effective.
Take Nuomi (Oryzae Sativae Glutinosa Semen) in any quantity, soak until swollen, grind into a paste, and use the extracted starch to apply topically.
Take earthworm excrement from leek fields, dry by roasting, grind into fine powder, mix with oil, and apply.
When sores appear on the hands and feet of children, with black heads, breaking open to flow yellow fluid, surrounded by floating foam and causing extreme pain, this is named Yuqi Chuang (Fish Umbilicus Sore). Burn Shepi (Serpentis Corium) until carbonized but retaining its properties, grind into fine powder, mix with Jidanqing (Albumen Ovi Galli) and Qingyou (Pure Oil), and apply.
When sores appear on the scrotum, ulcerating with fragile skin giving a sensation of impending detachment, this is named Cuinang Zheng (Fragile Scrotum Syndrome), caused by damp-heat. Use Zisuye (Perillae Folium) ground into powder; if the area is moist, sprinkle directly to absorb moisture; if dry, mix with Qingyou (Pure Oil) and apply.
Another prescription:
Use Bai Luokezi (Concha Meretricis et Cyclinae) found in walls, grind into powder, and apply.
For any child suffering from carbuncles, toxic sores, boils, or unknown malignant sores, whether broken with bleeding or bitten/stung by insects, use Zijin Ding (Purple Gold Pill) ground in water. Administer internally and apply externally; the efficacy is indescribable.
For sores appearing on the crown of the head that resemble flowing water but are not actually liquid, apply water made by grinding old iron; the effect is miraculous.
