Treats women whose Zang Qi (Visceral Energy) is originally deficient, harboring chronic Wind-Cold pathogens, resulting in fullness and pain in the chest and diaphragm, cramping and stabbing pain in the abdomen and hypochondrium, vomiting and nausea, reduced appetite, puffiness of the body and face, aversion to cold with shivering, or incessant diarrhea, shortness of breath, emaciation and fatigue; as well as conditions arising from childbirth where Zang Qi suddenly becomes deficient, Cold pathogens prevail internally, exacerbating chronic diseases.
Evodiae Fructus (Washed seven times with hot water, stir-fried, 1.5 liang), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum (Pao Ganjiang, processed dried ginger), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparatum (Zhi Gancao, honey-fried licorice), Ophiopogonis Radix (Qu Xin Men Dong, heart-removed Ophiopogon), Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Shui Xi Ban Xia, washed with hot water seven times), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Jiu Jin Dang Gui, wine-soaked and stir-fried), Poria (Fuling), Moutan Cortex (Mudan Pi), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guixin) (each 0.5 liang).

Most suitable for treating postpartum swelling and fullness, rapid panting, restlessness and thirst, and difficult urination. (Formula see Treatise 6)
Treatise 8 asks: What causes sudden visions of spirits and ghosts after childbirth? The answer is: The Heart governs the blood vessels in the body. Due to deficiency and consumption of blood vessels, Heart Qi becomes deficient. Stagnant blood accumulates and interferes with the Heart upwards. The Heart cannot tolerate this disturbance, leading to mental restlessness, inability to lie down or sit comfortably, sudden visions of spirits and ghosts, and inverted speech. Physicians who do not recognize this condition may call it "Blood Evil." Treating it as such will certainly not lead to recovery. One should simply administer Tiao Jing San (Regulate Menstruation Powder), adding a pinch of Long Nao (Borneol) per dose. Sleep indicates peace.
Tiao Jing San (See Treatise 7), add a pinch of Long Nao (Borneol) per dose.
Treatise 9 asks: What causes muteness after childbirth? The answer is: The human Heart has seven holes and three hairs (referring to its intricate structure). Postpartum weakness often leads to stagnant blood accumulation, blocking the Heart orifices, preventing clear consciousness. Furthermore, Heart Qi connects to the tongue. If Heart Qi is blocked, the tongue also becomes stiff, causing muteness. In such cases, one should simply administer Qi Zhen San (Seven Treasures Powder).
