To treat diseases occurring in the years of Yin and Shen (Tiger and Monkey), when Shaoyang Ministerial Fire governs the Heaven (Si Tian) and Jueyin Wind Wood governs the Earth (Zai Quan), where the qi transformation operates prior to the natural timing. In the First Qi phase, Shaoyin Sovereign Fire overlays Jueyin Wind Wood; the people suffer from warm diseases, wind disturbs upwards causing blood extravasation and red eyes, cough with counterflow and headache, metrorrhagia, hypochondriac fullness, and sores in the skin and interstices. In the Second Qi phase, Taiyin Earth overlays Shaoyin Fire; the people suffer from heat stagnation, cough with counterflow and vomiting, chest and diaphragm discomfort, headache and fever, drowsiness and purulent sores. In the Third Qi phase, Shaoyang Ministerial Fire overlays Ministerial Fire; the people suffer from heat in the middle, deafness and blindness, blood extravasation, purulent sores, cough and vomiting, nasal congestion and epistaxis, thirst, sneezing and yawning, throat obstruction, and red eyes, prone to sudden death.
