治产后败血作梗，头痛，诸药不效者。大附子一枚酽醋一碗，用火四面炙透，蘸醋
去皮脐，川芎一两同为末。每服二钱，茶清调下。虚人最效。
治产后挟气，头痛不可忍。
上以大川芎、天台乌药皮为末，称锤烧淬酒调下。
治产后恶露上攻，流入于肺经，咳嗽，宜服。如伤风痰喘，却以寻常伤风药治之。
知母 贝母 白茯苓 人参（各半两） 桃仁 杏仁（并生，去皮尖，各一分）
上锉散。每服三钱，水一盏半煎，不以时温服。如觉腹痛，并服之，立有神效。
治产后血风，感寒暑湿，喘满，痰涎壅甚，咳嗽，坐卧不宁。

治产后血入于肺，面黑，发喘欲死，名孤阳绝阴。

上用水二碗，煮取一大碗，去滓，调参末，随时加减服，神效。
治产后恶露淋沥不绝，心闷短气，四肢乏弱，不思饮食，头目昏重，五心烦热，面
瘦。

上锉散。每服二钱，生姜三片，枣一枚煎，食前温服。
To treat headache caused by stagnant blood (stasis) postpartum, which is unresponsive to various medications. Take one large Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root), soak it in a bowl of strong vinegar, roast thoroughly over fire from all sides, dip in vinegar, remove skin and umbilical scar, then combine with 1 liang of Chuanxiong Rhizome, grind into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with clear tea water for administration. Most effective for patients with deficiency constitution.
To treat headache due to deficient heat postpartum. (Formula see Headache Category in Major Formulas Section.)
To treat severe headache caused by Qi stagnation postpartum, unbearable pain.
Grind the above herbs (large Chuanxiong Rhizome, Tian Tai Wu Yao Bark) into fine powder. Quench a red-hot weighing hammer in wine, mix with the powder, and administer.
To treat cough caused by lochia attacking upward and flowing into the Lung Meridian postpartum. Suitable for this formula. If it is wind-cold with phlegm-wheezing, treat with ordinary wind-cold medicines instead.
Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus), Baifuling (Poria), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) (each half liang), Taoren (Persicae Semen), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (both raw, remove skin and tips, each 1 fen).
Crush the herbs into coarse pieces. Take 3 qian each time, decoct with 1.5 bowls of water, take warm at any time. If abdominal pain occurs, take together, immediate remarkable effect.
To treat blood-wind postpartum, affected by cold, summer-heat, and dampness, causing wheezing, chest fullness, excessive phlegm-saliva, cough, restlessness sitting or lying down.
Xuanjinhua (Inulae Flos), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Qianhu (Peucedani Radix), Banxiaqu (Pinelliae Fermentatum), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus), Fuling (Poria), Gancao (Liquiritiae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (equal parts).
Crush the herbs into coarse pieces. Take 4 qian each time, decoct with 5 slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and 1 Zao (Jujubae Fructus), take warm before meals.
To treat blood entering the Lungs postpartum, black complexion, fatal wheezing, named "Solitary Yang and Absolute Yin".
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) (1 liang, separately ground into powder), Sumu (Sappan Lignum) (2 liang).
Add 2 bowls of water, boil to obtain 1 bowl, remove dregs, mix with Renshen powder, adjust dosage as needed, divine effect.
To treat sudden exhaustion of Ying Blood postpartum, rapid breathing and wheezing. (Formula see previous section, i.e., Foshou San.)
To treat dry blood postpartum, epigastric fullness and irritability, remove Dihuang, add Renshen and Wumei. (Formula see following section.)
To treat prolonged dripping of lochia postpartum, chest oppression, shortness of breath, weakness of four limbs, loss of appetite, heavy sensation in head and eyes, five-palm heat, emaciated face.
Muli (Concha Ostreae), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Baifuling (Poria), Longgu (Os Draconis) (each 1 liang), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, stir-fried), Aiye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, wine-fried), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Wuwei (Schisandrae Fructus).
Crush the herbs into coarse pieces. Take 2 qian each time, decoct with 3 slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and 1 Zao (Jujubae Fructus), take warm before meals.
