Folium Viticis Negundo (Wanjingye) [1.5 liang], Fructus Viticis Negundo (Manjingzi), Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), Radix Asari (Xixin, removed roots), Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, removed rhizomes), Cortex Cinnamomi (Guixin), Radix Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong), Pericarpium Zanthoxyli (Dingpi), Radix Notopterygii (Qianghuo).

Grind the above herbs into powder. For each use, take 1 liang, half a spoonful of salt, five stalks of green onion white part with roots, and 5 sheng of fermented rice water. Boil for five to seven boils, remove the dregs, and wash the painful area with the liquid when it is comfortably warm.
To treat wind pathogens entering through various wound openings, causing tetanus (Poshangfeng). Symptoms include stiff neck, locked jaw, and a sensation of impending death.

Grind the above uniformly. Take 2 qian per dose, mix with wine for administration, or swallow with rice drink. Another method: administer with decoction of Lignum Sappan (Sumu) mixed with wine.
To treat various old and new sores, tetanus caused by wind invasion, stiff neck, straight back, opisthotonos (back arching backwards), locked jaw unable to speak, convulsions of hands and feet, upward deviation of eyes, and sounds from the throat. Also for extracting arrowheads.
