Treats wind-cold-dampness-toxin clashing with qi and blood, resulting in laxity and weakness of the sinews and bones, and soreness, pain, and itching in the four limbs.
Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma) Chuanniuxi (Cyathulae Radix, remove seedlings) Xuanzhou Mugua (Chaenomelis Fructus) Roucongrong (Cistanche Herba) (wash, slice, bake. The above four herbs each weigh one jin, soak in five sheng of good wine for three days)
Shexiang (Moschus, 1 qian)
Grind the above herbs into powder. Use the wine used to soak the herbs to boil wheat paste and form pills the size of a sophora tree seed. Take 30-40 pills per dose before meals, washed down with warm wine or Doulin wine. If ineffective, use Mugua decoction.
Treats Baihu Lijie Feng (White Tiger Joint Pain), characterized by shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating, dizziness, and nausea, contracture and curling of fingers, emaciation with nodules, swelling sensation as if dislocated, and severe pain as if being cut. Caused by drinking alcohol while exposed to wind when the body is deficient, entering water after sweating, and contracting wind-cold-dampness-toxin qi. This stagnates in the sinews and vessels, accumulates in the bone joints, or manifests in the four limbs. The muscle color remains unchanged, symptoms are quiet during the day but worsen at night, pain penetrates to the bone, unbearable like tiger bites. If not treated for a long time, it causes joint dislocation and deformity, also known as Lifeng (Leprosy). Must treat with large doses of decoctions or pills; light and superficial agents will be ineffective.

Cut into pieces to make a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, add one and a half zhan of water and five slices of fresh ginger, decoct, and take warm at any time.
Treats wandering Lijie wind causing soft pain, sudden collapse, and injuries from falls.
Caowutou (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, 3 liang, skin and umbilicus removed) Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, or raw) Nanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma) Banxiaqu (Pinelliae Tuber Fermentatum) Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus) Wuyao (Linderae Radix) (each half liang. Sun-dry all).
Grind into powder. Form pills using wine and wheat paste, size of sophora seeds. Take 5-7 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine at midnight or noon. For severe pain from falls and injuries, wash down with ginger juice.
