塞耳方
蒲黄末 乳香末 白芷末（各半钱） 雄黄末（一钱）
上和匀，以纸蘸药一字，紧塞耳内随左右，仍用荆芥咬在痛牙上。
鹤虱 细辛 白芷 甘松（各等分）
上为末，每用少许揩牙上。如有蛀孔，用药入按孔中，效。
治牙齿痛。

上为末，以手指点药，如齿药用，须擦令热彻，须臾吐出少涎，以盐汤漱口大妙。亦治

全蝎（七枚，去毒） 细辛（洗净，三钱） 草乌（二个，去皮） 乳香（二钱，别研）
上为末，每用少许擦患处，须臾以温盐水灌漱。
Treatment for toothache.
Xionghuang (Realgar), Moyao (Myrrh) (each 1 qian), Ruxiang (Frankincense) (0.5 qian).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. If pain is on the left side, insufflate a small amount of powder into the left nostril and also blow it into the left ear. If pain is on the right side, insufflate into the right nostril and blow into the right ear.
Ear-plugging Formula
Puhuang Pollen Typhae Powder, Ruxiang Frankincense Powder, Baizhi Angelicae Dahuricae Radix Powder (each 0.5 qian), Xionghuang Realgar Powder (1 qian).
Mix the above powders evenly. Dip a paper strip in the medicine to take an amount equivalent to "one character" (approx. 0.3-0.5g), tightly plug it into the ear according to the affected side. Meanwhile, chew Jingjie Schizonepetae Spica on the painful tooth.
Heshi Nephelii Arillati Semen, Xixin Asari Radix et Rhizoma, Baizhi Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Gansong Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma (equal parts).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. Each time, use a small amount to rub onto the teeth. If there are carious holes, apply the medicine into and press against the hole; this is effective.
Treatment for toothache.
Place Wuyi Ren Archardisiae Fructus on the carious tooth; if there is a gap, pack it firmly, and relief will be immediate.
Treatment for wind-induced toothache.
Use a knife to shave off a thin slice of Mayanye (likely referring to a specific herb or plant part, contextually treated as a topical agent), insert it into the crevice of the affected tooth, or bite it at the painful site. Once wind-phlegm saliva is excreted, the pain will cease.
Treatment for toothache.
Guangming Baifan Aluminae Alumen (calcined until dry), Diluted Ruxiang Frankincense (equal parts).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. Melt beeswax and mix with the powder according to the required amount to form a paste. Immediately roll into pills and fill them into the dental cavities according to their size. The pain will stop immediately; this is miraculous. Another formula adds a small amount of Yanzhi Carmine.
Treatment for toothache.
Select straight Baijiangcan Bombyx Batryticatus, quantity not limited. Stir-fry with slices of Shengjiang Zingiberis Recens Rhizoma until reddish-yellow. Remove the ginger and do not use it. Pulverize into a fine powder. Each time, take... [text cuts off, implies application].
Treatment for wind-induced toothache, whether new onset or chronic, one dose brings immediate relief.
Gaoliangjiang Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma (one piece, approx. 2 cun long), Quanxie Scorpio (one unit, dried on a tile).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. Dip fingers in the medicine to apply. If used as a dental medication, it must be rubbed until thoroughly warm. After a short while, spit out a little saliva, then rinse the mouth with salt water; this is excellent. It also treats swelling and pain in the cheeks.
Treatment for all types of toothache, regardless of whether it is due to recent wind invasion or chronic pain, provides immediate relief.
Quanxie Scorpio (seven units, detoxified), Xixin Asari Radix et Rhizoma (washed, 3 qian), Caowu Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Preparata (two units, peeled), Ruxiang Frankincense (2 qian, separately ground).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. Each time, use a small amount to rub onto the affected area. After a short while, rinse with warm salt water.
