Treats excess-heat of the Large Intestine, qi stagnation and obstruction, resulting in fullness and distension of the heart and abdomen, and hard constipation.
Binglang (Arecae Semen), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma - steamed), Maziren (Cannabis Fructus - stir-fried, shell removed, ground separately), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus - bran-stir-fried), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix - rhizome removed), Qianniuzi (Pharbitidis Semen - stir-fried), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum - skin and tip removed, stir-fried), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to make pills, sized like wu-tong seeds. Take 40 pills per dose, on an empty stomach, delivered with warm water, until bowel movements become smooth.

The Kidney is the meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, located in the North, belonging to Ren-Gui Water. The left is the Kidney, the right is the Mingmen (Gate of Life), and it forms an interior-exterior relationship with the Bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang. Kidney essence values retention and consolidation, while the Bladder desires normal qi transformation. If one indulges in lust excessively, damaging willpower and injuring the Kidney, or takes cinnabar and stone minerals in excess, depending on the deficiency or excess, cold or heat syndromes will manifest. When in a state of deficiency, deficiency generates cold; cold causes severe pain in the lower back and back, inability to bend or straighten, soreness and weakness in the calves, aversion to wind and cold, cold limbs, shortness of breath, bone joint discomfort and pain, knotting pain in the umbilical and abdominal regions, dark complexion, tinnitus with a hollow sound, dryness of muscles and bones, slippery and frequent urination. Diagnosing the pulse as floating, fine, and rapid indicates a Kidney deficiency syndrome. When in a state of excess, excess generates heat; heat causes dry tongue, swollen throat, vexation, dry pharynx, occasional pain in the chest and hypochondrium, wheezing, coughing, and sweating, lower abdominal fullness, stiffness and tension in the lower back, heavy body, bone heat, red and yellow urine, hot and painful soles of the feet. Diagnosing the pulse as floating and tight indicates a Kidney excess syndrome. A pulse that is deep, soft, and slippery is the pulse of health. A pulse that comes like pulling a vine, becoming harder upon pressure, indicates Kidney disease; if extremely hard and deep like striking a stone...

Fuzi (Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix - processed, skin and navel removed), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus) (each 2 liang), Shanzhuyu (Corni Fructus - flesh taken), Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma - chopped, stir-fried), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex - woody core removed), Lurong (Cervi Cornu Degelatinatum - hair removed, steamed with wine), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata - washed, steamed with wine), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex - bark removed, not exposed to direct fire), Bai Fuling (Poria - skin removed), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma)...
