Treatment for "Ghost Fetus" (a TCM term referring to conditions resembling hydatidiform mole or pseudocyesis, characterized by abdominal distension like holding a jar):
Grind Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu), Aconiti Radix (Chuanwu), Gentianae Radix (Qinjiao), Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), and Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan) into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take seven pills per dose, washed down with warm wine. Recovery occurs upon expulsion of evil matter.

Take an unspecified amount of sheep feces, insert them into the belly of a crucian carp, seal in a pottery jar firmly, and coat the exterior with a mixture of ash and sesame oil. After several days, the sheep feces will gradually grow and turn black.

Grind iron filings to a fine powder, mix with good vinegar, and boil for two or three boils. Remove the iron filings and apply them to the affected area. Then, take a large piece of high-quality lodestone and frequently attract/adsorb over the area; this will be effective.

Take 3 fen (approx. 1g) of lead, hammer it into thin slices, and cut them into the shape of incense tea. Divide into three doses. Use 1 fen of lead daily, chew it mixed with walnut meat, and wash down with good wine. Complete the course over three days.

If children suffer from this condition, manifesting as incessant craving for food and sleeplessness throughout the night, prick the flexion points of the middle joints of the three central fingers on the dorsum of both hands. For one-year-old infants, use medium-sized needles; after insertion, reduce stimulation (text incomplete).

Part the fontanelle (top of the head); if red veins or red nodules are present, pierce them to stop the symptoms.

Seek out red bumps; pierce them with a needle to achieve cure.

One centipede, Sparganii Rhizoma (Mubiezi), Trogopteri Dung (Wulingzhi), Realgar (Xionghuang), Frankincense (Ruxiang), Myrrh (Moyao), Ferula Resin (Awei), Bupleuri Radix (Sanleng), Curcumae Longae Rhizoma (Pengru), Licorice Root (Gancao), and Mirabilite (Pinxiao) each 1 qian;
Frankincense (Ruxiang), Myrrh (Moyao), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duohuo), Aconiti Radix (Chuanwu), Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Caowu), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Yazao), Sulfur (Liuhuang), Manis Squama (Shanjia), Fritillaria Thunbergii Bulb (Dabei), Trogopteri Dung (Lingzhi), Cinnamon Twig (Rou...)
