溺血属热，用炒山栀子，水煎服，或用小蓟、琥珀。有血虚，四物加牛膝膏；
实者，用当归承气汤下之，后以四物加山栀。

小蓟饮子 治下焦结热血淋。
生地黄 小蓟 滑石 通草 淡竹叶 蒲黄（炒） 藕节 当归（酒浸） 栀子（炒） 甘草
上以水煎，空心服。
〔附录〕溺血，痛者为淋，下痛者为溺血。溺血先与生料五苓散加四物汤，若服不效
，其人素病于色者，此属虚，宜五苓散和胶艾汤，吞鹿茸丸，或辰砂香散。四物加生地黄
牛膝，或四物加黄连、棕灰。又六味地黄丸为要药，茎中痛，用甘草梢，血药中少佐地榆、
陈皮、白芷、棕灰。劫剂用《瑞竹堂》蒲黄散，或单用蒲黄，或煎葱汤调郁金末，服之。又文
入煎剂妙。大抵小便出血，则小肠气秘，气秘则小便难甚。痛者谓之淋，不痛者谓之溺血
并以油发烧灰存性为末，新汲水调下，妙。又方，以车前子为末，煎车草叶，调二钱服
附方
许令公方 治尿血。

当归承气汤
当归 浓朴 枳实 大黄 芒硝
生料五苓散 见中暑。
胶艾汤
阿胶 川芎 甘草（炙，各二两） 川归 艾叶（炒，各二两） 熟地黄 白芍（各四两）
上 咀。每三钱，水酒煎，空心热服。
鹿茸丸
鹿茸（一两，蜜炙） 沉香 附子（炮，各半两） 菟丝子（制，一两） 当归 故纸（炒） 茴香（
炒） 胡芦巴（炒，各半两）
上为末，酒糊丸。每七十丸，空心盐酒下。
辰砂妙香散
麝香（一钱，另研） 山药（姜汁炙，一两） 人参（半两） 木香（煨，二钱半） 茯苓 茯神 黄
（各一两） 桔梗（半两） 甘草（炙，半两） 远志（炒，一两） 辰砂（三钱）
上为末。每二钱，温酒下。
六味地黄丸 见诸虚。
《瑞竹堂》蒲黄散
故纸（炒） 蒲黄（炒） 千年锻石（炒）
上等分为细末。每三钱，空心热酒调下。
Hematuria belongs to heat syndromes; use stir-fried Gardeniae Fructus (Shanzhizi, 山栀子), decocted in water for oral administration, or use Cirsii Herba (Xiaoji, 小蓟) and Succinum (Hupo, 琥珀). If there is blood deficiency, add Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix Glue (Niuxigao, 牛膝膏) to the Four Substances Decoction (Siwu Tang, 四物汤); if it is an excess syndrome, administer Angelica Sinensis & Rhei Decoction (Danggui Chengqi Tang, 当归承气汤) to purge, followed by Four Substances Decoction with Gardeniae Fructus.
Prescription:
Cirsii Decoction (Xiaoji Yinzi, 小蓟饮子): Treats lower jiao accumulated heat causing painful urinary dysfunction with blood (Jiexue Xielin, 结热血淋).
Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shengdihuang, 生地黄), Cirsii Herba (Xiaoji, 小蓟), Talcum (Huashi, 滑石), Akebiae Caulis (Tongcao, 通草), Lophatheri Herba (Danzhuye, 淡竹叶), Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Stir-fried (Chao Puhuang, 蒲黄（炒）), Nymphaeae Rhizoma Stamen (Oujie, 藕节), Angelicae Sinensis Radix Wine-soaked (Jiu Jin Danggui, 当归（酒浸）), Gardeniae Fructus Stir-fried (Chao Zhizi, 栀子（炒）), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草).
Decoct these ingredients in water and take on an empty stomach.
[Appendix] Hematuria accompanied by pain during urination is termed Lin Syndrome (Lin Zheng, 淋证); hematuria without pain is termed Hematuria (Niaoxue, 溺血). For hematuria, first use Raw Material Wuling San (Shengliao Wuling San, 生料五苓散) combined with Four Substances Decoction. If ineffective, and the patient has a history of excessive sexual activity, this indicates a deficiency syndrome. It is appropriate to use Wuling San harmonized with Ejiao & Mugwort Decoction (Jiao'ai Tang, 胶艾汤), swallowing Deer Antler Pill (Lurong Wan, 鹿茸丸), or Cinnabar Miaoxiang San (Chensha Miaoxiang San, 辰砂妙香散). Alternatively, use Four Substances Decoction with Rehmanniae Radix Preparata and Achyranthes Root, or Four Substances Decoction with Coptidis Rhizome and Palm Ash. Furthermore, Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia) is a crucial medicine. For pain in the urethra, use Glycyrrhizae Radix tip (Gancao Shao, 甘草梢), and in hemostatic formulas, slightly add Sanguisorbae Radix, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, and Palm Ash. For emergency measures, use Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Powder from Ruizhutang (Ruizhutang Puhuang San, 《瑞竹堂》蒲黄散), or use Polygoni Multiflori Caulis alone, or decoct Scallion Juice to mix with Curcuma Zedoaria Powder for ingestion. Additionally, Argo Concha (Wenli, 文蛤) added to decoctions is excellent. Generally, bleeding in urine leads to Qi stagnation in the Small Intestine; Qi stagnation causes severe difficulty in urination. Painful urination is called Lin Syndrome; painless bleeding is called Hematuria. Use substances charred with oil but retaining their nature, ground into powder, and taken mixed with fresh well-water; this is effective. Another formula: grind Plantaginis Seed (Cheqianzi, 车前子) into powder, decoct Plantago Leaf (Checao Ye, 车草叶), and take two qian mixed with it.
Attached Prescriptions:
Lord Xu’s Formula: Treats hematuria.
Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Juice, one sheng), Ginger Juice (one he).
Mix the two substances and take at once for cure.
Angelica Sinensis & Rhei Decoction (Danggui Chengqi Tang, 当归承气汤):
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Nongpo, 浓朴), Aurantii Fructus Immaturus (Zhishi, 枳实), Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang, 大黄), Natrii Sulfas (Mangxiao, 芒硝).

Ejiao & Mugwort Decoction (Jiao'ai Tang, 胶艾汤):
Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla, 阿胶), Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong, 川芎), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Honey-roasted (Zhi Gancao, 甘草（炙）), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Chuan Gui, 川归), Artemisiae Argyi Folium Stir-fried (Chao Aiye, 艾叶（炒）), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shu Dihuang, 熟地黄), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao, 白芍).
Cut the herbs. Take three qian per dose, decoct with water and wine, and take hot on an empty stomach.
Deer Antler Pill (Lurong Wan, 鹿茸丸):
Deer Antler without Bone (Mi Zhi Lurong, 鹿茸（蜜炙）), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Chenxiang, 沉香), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Pao Fuzi, 附子（炮）), Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Fructus Processed (Zhi Tusizi, 菟丝子（制）), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), Psoraleae Fructus Stir-fried (Chao Guozhi, 故纸（炒）), Foeniculi Fructus Stir-fried (Chao Huixiang, 茴香（炒）), Trigonellae Semen Stir-fried (Chao Huluba, 胡芦巴（炒）).
Grind into powder, make pills with wine paste. Take seventy pills per dose, swallow with salt wine on an empty stomach.
Cinnabar Miaoxiang San (Chensha Miaoxiang San, 辰砂妙香散):
Moschus (Yan Yan Mixiang, 麝香（另研）), Dioscoreae Rhizoma Ginger-juice roasted (Jiang Zhi Shanyao, 山药（姜汁炙）), Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 人参), Aucklandiae Radix Roasted (Wei Muxiang, 木香（煨）), Poria (Fuling, 茯苓), Poria with Pine Roots (Fushen, 茯神), Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng, 桔梗), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Honey-roasted (Zhi Gancao, 甘草（炙）), Polygalae Radix Stir-fried (Chao Yuanzhi, 远志（炒）), Cinnabar (Chensha, 辰砂).
Grind into powder. Take two qian per dose, swallow with warm wine.
Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia (Liuwei Dihuang Wan, 六味地黄丸): See Deficiency Syndromes section.
Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Powder from Ruizhutang (Ruizhutang Puhuang San, 《瑞竹堂》蒲黄散):
Psoraleae Fructus Stir-fried (Chao Guozhi, 故纸（炒）), Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Stir-fried (Chao Puhuang, 蒲黄（炒）), Ancient Calcined Stone Stir-fried (Chao Qiannian Duanshi, 千年锻石（炒）).
Sift equally into fine powder. Take three qian per dose, mix with hot wine and take on an empty stomach.
