Another prescription: For pediatric hematuria (blood in urine). Use Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction) to administer Yiyuan San (Yi Yuan Powder), adding Shengma end (Cimicifugae Rhizoma powder); this is particularly effective.
Treats neonatal jaundice where the entire body is yellow, resembling bright gold, accompanied by high fever, obstruction of urination and defecation, absence of crying sound, and refusal to nurse.
Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix) (in equal amounts). Take 5–7 qian per dose, decoct in water, and administer to both mother and infant.
