Symptoms include sudden distension and stifling sensation in the chest and abdomen, stabbing pain, desire to vomit but unable to do so, and desire to defecate but unable to do so. Decoct and administer Erchen Tang (Two-Aged Powder). After administration, induce vomiting using an object to lift the qi. If the patient has already vomited, continue to induce vomiting until empty.
Another method: To treat heart and abdominal pain caused by Gan Huoluan. Drink one bowl of boiling salt water; the pain will stop immediately.
