(That is, hematuria)
Niao Xue (hematuria) belongs to excessive heat. If there is pain in the lower jiao, it is called Xue Lin (blood strangury); if there is no pain, it is Niao Xue (hematuria). Treatment need not rely solely on cold-natured medicines; warm and acrid ascending herbs must be used, such as those prepared with wine...
Treatment Formula:
Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Niu Xi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Shan Zhi (Gardeniae Fructus, stir-fried).
The above herbs are cut into pieces, decocted in water, and taken slightly warm on an empty stomach.
Another prescription: Add Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma) and Zong Hui (Brown Ash).
Another prescription: Treats Niao Xue (hematuria) and also treats Xue Lin (blood strangury).
Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, 4 liang), Xiao Ji (Cirsii Herba), Hua Shi (Talcum), Tong Cao (Tetrapanacis Medulla), Pu Huang (Typhae Pollen, stir-fried), Dan Zhu Ye (Lophatheri Herba), Ou Jie (Nelumbinis Node), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, soaked in wine), Shan Zhi (Gardeniae Fructus, stir-fried), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
For excess-type Niao Xue (hematuria), first administer this formula to purge, then regulate with Si Wu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) plus stir-fried Shan Zhi (Gardeniae Fructus).
Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Zhi Shi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Mang Xiao (Natrii Sulfas).
Decoct in water and take hot on an empty stomach.
Another prescription: For bleeding from the urinary tract with unbearable pain. Take a handful of Dan Dou Chi (Sojae Semen Praeparatum), decoct in water, and take warm; it is highly effective.
Another prescription: For hematuria caused by sexual exhaustion. Take one handful of one's own hair, wash clean, burn to ash, and grind finely. Mix with warm wine and take once; immediate effect is expected.
Another prescription: For pediatric hematuria. Decoct Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) and Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma) in water, and mix with Yi Yuan San (Yi Yuan Powder) for administration.
To treat Niao Xue (hematuria) and lower jiao blood-heat Xue Lin (blood strangury), this is best.
