Tendon Rupture Injury
Yaoshan said: Tendon rupture is a severe injury to tendons. According to "Nei Jing": The Liver governs tendons. Also: All tendons belong to the joints. "De Xiao Fang" states: Cold causes tendon spasm, heat causes tendon relaxation. "Ben Cao Gang Mu" states: Heat in Liver Qi leads to tendon flaccidity, resulting in spasm and contracture. Danxi stated: Illness arising from tendons due to physical and mental stress is treated with moxibustion warming and guiding exercises.
