(This condition presents with sudden, severe stabbing pain in the heart and abdomen, extreme restlessness and distress as if dying, and a bluish-black discoloration of the Renzhong (GV26) area. Immediately administer Suhé Wan. If the patient does not regain consciousness, blow powder made from Gaojiao (Gleditsia sinensis fruit) into the nasal cavity, and simultaneously apply Bixie Gao.)
Bixie Gao (Evil-Expelling Paste)

Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with melted honey to form a paste. Take a small amount, dissolve in Xiangru Tang (Frankincise decoction), and administer into the infant's mouth. Additionally, have the infant wear it or burn it near the sleeping area for superior efficacy.
Another prescription: Burn two qian of old sweat-soaked clothing to ash, mix with plain boiled water, and administer orally.
Another prescription: Grind one qian of Shexiang (Moschus) using saliva, mix with one he of vinegar, and administer orally for immediate recovery.
Another prescription: Decoct and administer Baitan Xiang (Santalum album wood) or Zitan Xiang (Pterocarpus santalinus wood); this is preferred.
Another prescription: For Zhong'e (sudden evil invasion) causing heart and abdominal pain, use equal parts of Xionghuang (Realgar) and Zhusha (Cinnabar), grind into powder, and administer mixed with Wuyao decoction (Lindera root decoction). For Shi Jue (corpse fainting), crush Suhé Wan, mix with sesame oil, and instill. Moxibustion on Juque (CV14) for seven moxa cones.
If the body is soft and the patient regains consciousness intermittently, it is Xian Bing (epilepsy/seizure disorder); if the body is rigid and the patient regains consciousness intermittently, it is Jing Bing (tetanus/spasm). This condition also belongs to the category of Jing Feng (wind convulsion). [Yin-Jing] involves cold hands and feet; Jing Bing involves whole-body rigidity. Although they are essentially the same disease, they should be distinguished by Yin-Rou (Yin-flaccidity) and Yang-Qiang (Yang-rigidity). Qiang (rigid) cases have sweating; Rou (flaccid) cases have no sweating. The symptoms manifest as limb rigidity and opisthotonos (backward arching of the back), which is more severe than Feng Xian (wind epilepsy) and is generally considered incurable.
