Leech (Shuizhi), select those dried in the shade and grind into powder. First, wipe the bluish area with the sweat of a white horse, then use the sweat of a white horse to mix the medicine and apply it to the affected area.
For the above method, pour cat urine into the ear, and the centipede will come out immediately. To obtain cat urine, place a basin over a cat and rub its teeth with ginger; this is very effective.
Another prescription:
Pour black donkey milk into the ear, and the centipede will also come out.
Yet another prescription:
Grind wet-born insects (small insects bred in damp environments) into a paste and apply it around the ear; the centipede will naturally exit.
Soybeans (five sheng, washed clean, steamed three times, skin removed, and ground into fine powder) Hemp seeds (five sheng, soaked in hot water overnight, drained, steamed three times until the shells open, skin removed, and ground into fine powder for use) Glutinous rice (five sheng, washed clean, steamed together with Poria cocos for later use) Poria cocos (five liang, skin removed, pounded together with the aforementioned hemp seed powder into a paste like mud, gradually mixed with soybean yellow powder, blended evenly, formed into balls the size of fists, steamed again in a steamer. Ignite fire from the first watch of the night, stop fire at midnight, remove from steamer at Yin hour, dry in the sun at Wu hour, and grind into powder. Take as much as needed to feel full. Do not eat anything else during this period; take with hemp seed juice. After the first dose, one will not feel hungry for a month; after the second dose, forty days without hunger; after the third dose, a thousand days without hunger; after the fourth dose, eternal freedom from hunger. Complexion improves daily, strength doubles. If thirsty, drink hemp seed juice, which further quenches thirst and nourishes the five zang organs. When it is time to eat, take three he of Roselle seeds ground into powder, decocted in water and taken cold. The method for taking the medicine is as follows: initially, for three to five days, consume thin white rice porridge soup, eating small amounts frequently. After three days, there are no dietary restrictions. This medicine strictly forbids sexual activity.
Another prescription:
Poria cakes
Poria cocos (four liang, ground into powder) White flour (one or two liang)
Mix the above ingredients, boil in water, dilute the cake batter thinly, and fry using yellow beeswax instead of oil. By the third day, one may feel uncomfortable; after three days, strength gradually returns. One may consume small amounts of cooked fruits, sesame soup, rice drink, and cool water to slightly moisten the intestines and stomach, preventing them from becoming dry. When resuming normal eating, consume Roselle soup, along with thin rice porridge, in small amounts.
Another prescription: Baoming Dan (Life-Preserving Pill)
Ginseng root (five liang) Hemp seed kernel (two liang, stir-fried, skin removed) Dried Rehmannia root Gourd fruit (stir-fried) Dodder seed (soaked in wine, two liang each) Fresh Rehmannia root Dried jujube (three liang each) Fermented soybean (one sheng, boiled, foam removed) Black Aconite root (one liang raw, one liang processed and skin removed) Poria cocos God's gift mushroom (Fusinum) Cortex Lycii (rough skin removed) Vitex fruit (cooked and used) Apricot kernel (skin and tip removed) Ophiopogon tuber (stir-fried, heart removed) Kochia fruit (steamed seven times) Broomcorn millet (made into powder) Japonica rice (made into powder) White glutinous rice (made into powder) Asparagus tuber (heart removed) Plantago seed (steamed) Biota leaf (boiled three times, two liang five qian each)
All the above herbs are ground into fine powder, selecting only the finest quality. It is best to prepare them in the twelfth lunar month; preparation at other times is not recommended. Do not prepare during solar or lunar eclipses. If preparing, choose an auspicious day, perform the process in a clean room with incense burning, and combine with sincere devotion. Ensure that chickens, dogs, and women do not see the process. Melt one jin half of wax, filter out impurities, add one jin of white honey, totaling two jin half, melt together, mix evenly, pound in a mortar two thousand times, add a small amount of butter, and form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take ten pills per dose, continuing for five days. If taking medicine the next day, eat a meal of glutinous rice the previous night; japonica rice or white flour is acceptable. On the next day, take on an empty stomach with glutinous rice porridge drink. If taking while traveling, one may eat good food if available, stopping when desired. Eating small steamed buns, chewed thoroughly and swallowed, or dried fruits can assist the medicinal effect; abstaining is even better. Avoid salt and vinegar. Later, when the medication residue is excreted, wash it clean in flowing water, and resume taking it; one can remain without hunger for a hundred years.
