Take half a tael of *Fan Jian* (hardened rice crust), divided into three equal parts. (One part of half a tael is mixed with two seeds of *Badi Dou* [Crotonis Fructus]; one part of half a tael is mixed with three seeds of *Badi Dou*; one part of half a tael is mixed with five seeds of *Badi Dou*. Each portion is kneaded into white pellets.)
First, insert the pellet containing two *Badi Dou* seeds into the sore. If it does not ulcerate, use the pellet containing three *Badi Dou* seeds. If it still does not ulcerate, use the pellet containing five *Badi Dou* seeds. Alternatively, stir-fry the *Badi Dou* seeds with *Dansha* (Cinnabar) until red, and sprinkle them onto the sore to draw out clear fluid. If foul flesh remains, red fluid will be drawn out, indicating that all foul flesh has been expelled. Subsequently, apply *Sansheng San* (Three Holy Powders) as a plaster, and cover with an ointment plaster.
Take equal parts of *Chuan Wutou* (Aconiti Radix Preparata) and *Huangbai* (Phellodendri Cortex), grind them into powder, mix with saliva, apply to paper, and paste onto the affected area; this is highly effective.
Apply fresh leaves of *Tianqie* (Solanum melongena var. esculentum) to the affected area. Alternatively, grind them into fine powder and apply externally; this is also excellent.
Another prescription: Take *Renzhongbai* (Calcinatio Urae) collected in the twelfth lunar month, burn it to ash, mix with oil, and apply to sores and scabies.
Another prescription: Take *Wasong* (Pogonatherum crinitum) in any quantity, dry it in the shade, and grind into powder. First, wash the affected area with a decoction of *Huai Zhi* (Branches of Sophora japonica) and *Congbai* (Scallion White), then sprinkle the powder on it for immediate effect. This is particularly wonderful for moxibustion sores that fail to heal over a long period.
Another prescription: Mash *Pugongying* (Taraxaci Herba) and apply it to all kinds of malignant sores and various puncture wounds.
To treat all kinds of malignant sores.

Another formula:
Add *Banmao* (Mylabris) (20 pieces, remove feet and wings before use) and *Badi Dou* (Crotonis Fructus) (20 pieces, remove husks before use).
Grind the first three ingredients into a fine powder and mix evenly. Then add *Qingfen* and *Fenshuang* and grind again until uniform. Finally, add *Banmao* and *Badi Dou*, mix with water to form a paste, and shape into pellets. (If prepared as a powder...)

Cut the herbs into small pieces, decoct in one bowl of wine until reduced to 70%. Strain the dregs and take warm. If the sore has a head, add *Shunizi* (Arctii Fructus).
Formula: *Danggui* (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (0.5 liang), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (1 liang), *Shanzhizi* (Gardeniae Fructus) (12 pieces), *Mubiezi* (Momordicae Semen) (1 piece).
