Baijiangcan (Silkworm, *Bombyx Batryticatus*) (select straight ones) and Dahuang (Rhubarb Root, *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*) (equal parts of the two herbs).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with fresh ginger juice and honey to form pills the size of a bullet. Take one pill per dose, chew thoroughly.
Badou (Croton Seed, *Crotonis Fructus*) (1 qian, peeled and oil removed), Wulingzhi (Trogopterus Dung, *Tragopodis Faeces*) (0.5 liang), Huangdan (Lead Oxide, *Lithargyri Subcarbonas*) (2 qian, refined, plus Kubaijian (Calcined Alum, *Aluminis Sulphas Exsiccatus*) 1 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with starch paste to form pills. Shape them into rods and insert into the wound for use.
Treating sores and ulcers that have not yet erupted, with unbearable internal pain, as well as abdominal pain in women before and after childbirth.
Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*) (2 qian), Moyao (Myrrh, *Commiphora Myrrha*) (1.5 qian), Ruxiang (Olibanum, *Boswelliae Carterii Resina*) (0.5 qian), Baishaoyao (White Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix Alba*).
For sores and ulcers, add Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Panacis Ginseng Radix*) and Muxiang (Aucklandia Root, *Aucklandiae Radix*); for gynecological conditions, add Chishaoyao (Red Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix Rubra*).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 1 zhuan of water, decoct until reduced to 0.7 zhuan. Take warm with the dregs, twice daily. For women, decoct with wine; if the sore has already erupted, do not use this formula.
Zihuadiding (Viola Yedoensis Herb, *Violae Herba*) (also known as Miduibu, collect it).
Take the roots, dry them in the sun. Stack four and a half bricks to form a furnace. Burn the Zihuadiding inside, cover with one brick, allowing smoke to escape through the brick's pores. Use the smoke to fumigate malignant sores; yellow fluid will discharge, and self-healing will occur.
Crush the roots of Pugongying (Dandelion Herb, *Taraxaci Herba*). Apply to the injured area and seal with Bai Gaoyao (White Plaster).
Also treats malignant sores.
Jintouwugong (Scolopendra, *Scolopendrase Extractum*) (one piece), Jinse Ziran Tong (Pyrite, *Pyritum*) (0.5 liang, heated red, quenched in vinegar, crushed, and ground into fine powder for use), Tongqian (Copper Coin) (those weighing half a liang: take three or five pieces, heat red, quench in vinegar, and grind finely), Jinsi Shizhi (Leech, *Hirudo Extractum*) (1.5 qian, cut each into three segments, bake on tile until airways are removed), Moyao (Myrrh, *Commiphora Myrrha*) (3 qian, finely ground), Ruxiang (Olibanum, *Boswelliae Carterii Resina*) (2 qian, finely ground).
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. If there is swelling and pain at the sore site, mix half a qian of powder with saliva and apply; pain stops immediately. If pus is visible, first take a small amount of coarse powder, mix with half a spoonful of sesame oil, stir evenly, then add half a qian of the previously mentioned Jiegu San (Bone-Setting Powder), stir again, then add more of the Jiegu San, and finally mix all with a silver hairpin into a paste. Apply to the swollen area with a chicken feather; pain stops immediately. The sore will rupture naturally by dawn the next day, showing efficacy. For fractured bones and injuries, take half a qian of the aforementioned Jiegu San, add half a qian of Madouling (Aristolochia Root, *Aristolochiae Radix*) powder, mix with a large zhuan of good wine, heat, and take warm with dregs. For bone fractures, alignment is immediate and painless. If not fractured, taking the medicine stops pain immediately. This formula has proven effective repeatedly; details cannot be fully listed. Take the medicine either before or after meals as appropriate. There is also an external bone-setting preparation.
Chenlan Magen (Flax Root, *Linii Radix*) (two handfuls), Yang Erduo (Earleaf Akebia Fruit, *Akebiae Trifoliatae Fructus*) (one pair), Luansi (Disordered Silk/Hair) (one handful, more is better).
Split thick pine resin nodes. Based on quantity, place two or three pieces on a new tile. Place the above three ingredients on top and burn until "preserving nature" (charred but retaining medicinal properties). Grind into powder. If not sufficiently processed, burn and grind again. Then add Wulingzhi (Trogopterus Dung, *Tragopodis Faeces*) 0.5 liang. If pain is severe, add a little good Ruxiang (Olibanum, *Boswelliae Carterii Resina*). Mix until the medicine turns tea-brown. Wrap with a cloth strip. First spread millet porridge evenly, sprinkle the powder uniformly, wrap tightly around the fracture. Cover with three to five layers of soft cloth, then wrap with bamboo splints, securing with moderate tightness. Change the dressing every three days initially; thereafter, change every five days; then change again after seven days. Healing without failure is guaranteed.
