[Original Text] Method One: Sit upright, cross both hands behind the back; this is called "Dai Bian" (Belted Bowel Movement). It cures constipation, promotes abdominal smoothness, and alleviates emaciation due to deficiency. Cross both hands backward on the back, push upward toward the heart region, sit in a reversed posture [or lean backward], and repeat nine times. It cures difficulty in passing both stool and urine, promotes abdominal smoothness, and alleviates emaciation due to deficiency.
[Explanation] Sit upright with both hands crossed behind the back, named "Dai Bian". It can treat inability to defecate, making the abdomen smooth, and can also treat consumptive disease [Xu Lao] and emaciation. Cross both hands backward on the back, push the hands upward to align with the upper and lower regions of the heart, sit with legs extended and spread apart, and tilt the head and body backward nine times. It can treat inability to pass both stool and urine, making the abdomen smooth, and can also treat consumptive disease [Xu Lao] and emaciation.
[Original Text] Method Two: Practice "Turtle Breathing Qi" [Gui Xing Qi]. Lie prone within clothing or blankets, covering the mouth, nose, head, and face. Lie upright, hold the breath for nine cycles, exhaling slightly through the nose. It treats fecal impaction and obstruction.

[Original Text] Method Three: Lie supine, extend both hands straight, rub and knead the left and right hypochondriac regions to eliminate difficult defecation, abdominal pain, and cold in the abdomen. Inhale through the mouth, exhale through the nose, swallow the warm air dozens of times; the illness will be cured.

Summary:
Difficulty in passing both stool and urine refers to the difficulty in excretion and blockage of both. However, based on the description in this section, it mainly refers to difficulty in defecation. This chapter uses a combination of massage and Qigong for the comprehensive prevention and treatment of constipation. The massage and breathing methods include:
1. Dai Bian Method:
The method involves sitting upright, crossing both hands behind the back, aligning with the upper and lower regions of the heart, and tilting the head and body backward.
2. Turtle Breathing Qi Method:
The method involves hiding like a turtle within clothing or blankets, covering the mouth, nose, head, and face, lying supine, holding the breath, and allowing Qi to enter and exit smoothly and finely through the nose.
3. Massage of the Hypochondriac Regions Method:
Massage the hypochondriac regions and the abdomen, inhale through the mouth and exhale through the nose, allowing the Qi to stay in the mouth briefly to become warm before swallowing it into the stomach and intestines.
