[Original Text] Method 1: Extend one hand long, join palms facing upward; with the other hand, grasp the chin and pull outward. Maintain the maximum stretch for a total of fourteen repetitions (two sets of seven). Perform similarly on both sides. Keep the hands still, stretch maximally to both sides laterally, and perform rapid pulling motions for fourteen repetitions. This can alleviate cervical stiffness and rigidity, "Toufeng" (head wind) with vertigo, "Houbi" (sore throat with swelling and obstruction), and cold sensation with hemiplegia in the inner arm.
[Explanation] One hand extends long, palm facing up; the other hand holds the chin and pulls outward, continuously exerting maximum effort for fourteen times. Do this on both sides. Then keep the hands still, turn as much as possible to the left and right sides, performing rapid pulling movements for fourteen times. It can remove cervical mobility disorders, headache with vertigo, Houbi, and cold injection with hemiplegia in the arm and shoulder.
[Original Text] Method 2: Use both hands to support the cheeks. Keep the hands still, bring the elbows forcefully together and hug the waist tightly. The waist should remain still like the hands. After stabilizing, release the heads of the two ribs outward, allowing the Qi of the elbows, arms, and waist to dissipate. Exert maximum effort until feeling severe stifling, then rise. Repeat this back-and-forth motion seven times. This treats Houbi.
[Explanation] Both hands support the cheeks, keeping the hands still. Forcefully bring the two elbows together and hug the waist tightly; the waist remains still just like the hands. Then lift the elbows outward, causing the Qi in the shoulders, elbows, and waist to dissipate completely. Rest slightly when feeling severely stifled, then repeat, doing so seven times in total. It can treat Houbi.
Summary:
This section's exercises mainly focus on moving the head, neck, elbows, and shoulders, possessing the efficacy of regulating Qi and unblocking bi-syndrome.
[Original Text] Method 1: On one's own Benming day (the day corresponding to one's birth year stem-branch), at the beginning of combing hair, tap the teeth nine times. Recite the Yin incantation silently: "Tai Di scatters spirit, Wu Lao returns to truth; Niwan Xuanhua preserves essence for long existence; Left turns to constrain the moon, Right draws to root the sun; Liu He is pure and refined, the cause of hundred diseases heals." Swallow saliva three times. Practice this frequently so that teeth do not hurt, hair remains firm and does not turn white, and the head does not hurt.
[Explanation] Frequently on one's Benming day (the day matching the individual's Gan-Zhi cycle), before combing hair and washing the face, tap the upper and lower teeth nine times. Chant the Yin incantation in the mouth: "Tai Di scatters spirit, Wu Lao returns to truth; Niwan Xuanhua preserves essence for long existence; Left turns to constrain the moon, Right draws to root the sun; Liu He is pure and refined, the cause of hundred diseases heals." Then swallow the saliva in the mouth three times. Practicing this frequently can prevent toothache, keep hair from falling out or turning white, and prevent headaches.
Note: The incantations of this method belong to Daoist esoteric texts and may be omitted during practice.
[Original Text] Method 2: Sit facing east. Hold breath four times. Grind/chew the teeth thirty-six times. Treats toothache.
[Explanation] Sit facing east, hold breath four times, and tap/grind the teeth thirty-six times, which can treat toothache.
[Original Text] Method 3: When anyone feels their spine and back are stiff and rigid, regardless of the season, contract and swallow [Qi/saliva] into the arms, look up, exert force upwards, and press the head to both left and right sides. Perform fourteen repetitions for each side, with one pause. Wait until blood circulation and Qi movement stabilize, then begin again. Start slowly and become faster later; do not start fast and slow down. If there is no illness, it is desirable to practice at three specific times: morning, noon, and sunset. If practicing, do fourteen repetitions at each time. This eliminates cold-heat diseases, pain in the spine, waist, neck, and nape, Fengbi (wind-bi syndrome), oral ulcers, dental wind, vertigo, ultimately removing them completely.
[Explanation] This method is roughly similar to the last paragraph of the Fengbi Section in the second part; see the explanation above.
