Sit with eyes closed and mind in deep meditation (sit cross-legged, calming the mind), hold the fist seal (握固: a hand gesture where the thumb is tucked inside the fingers), and quietly contemplate the spirit. Clap the teeth thirty-six times.
Embrace Kunlun with both hands (cross both hands behind the neck, breathe nine times without making sound audible to the ears; from then on, all inhalations and exhalations should be silent). Strike the heavenly drum left and right twenty-four times (place palms over ears, press the middle finger with the index finger, and flick against the back of the head, twenty-four times each side). Gently sway and shake Tianzhu (move the head left and right, rotating shoulders twenty-four times, starting with the fist seal held). The Red Dragon stirs the water essence (the Red Dragon refers to the tongue; stir it around the teeth and cheeks until saliva is generated, then swallow). Rinse the mouth thirty-six times (or alternatively, agitate the saliva), letting the divine fluid fill the mouth evenly. Swallow one portion in three gulps (divide the rinsed saliva into three parts and swallow with a "gu" sound), as the Dragon moves, the Tiger runs naturally (saliva is the Dragon, Qi is the Tiger). Hold the breath and rub hands until hot (inhale clear Qi through the nose, hold for a moment. Rub hands quickly until extremely hot, then slowly exhale through the nose). Massage the lower Jing Gate on the back (Jing Gate refers to the kidneys located at the lower back; after massaging with cupped hands, return to the fist seal). Exhaust this single breath (hold the breath again), visualize fire burning the umbilical wheel (close mouth and nose, visualize heart fire burning down to the Dantian. When feeling intense heat, proceed to the next method). Rotate the windlass left and right (bow head and sway shoulders thirty-six times, visualizing fire penetrating from Dantian through Shuangguan to Naohu; inhale clear Qi through nose and hold briefly), extend legs fully (straighten both legs). Cross hands and push up into empty space (cross hands and push upward three or nine times), bend head frequently to grasp feet (reach forward with both hands to grasp the soles of the feet twelve times, then retract feet and sit upright). Wait for the reverse water to rise (wait for saliva to generate in the mouth. If not yet generated, stir vigorously with the tongue again, following the previous method); rinse and swallow again. Repeat this cycle three times, swallowing the divine fluid nine times in total (rinse thirty-six times as before, divide into three gulps per round, totaling nine swallows).
Swallow with a resonant sound, and all meridians will naturally harmonize. The He Che (River Cart) transport is complete (rotate shoulders and body twenty-four times, and repeat the windlass rotation twenty-four times), ignite the fire to burn the entire body (visualize Dantian fire rising and burning through the body; keep mouth and nose closed during visualization). Demons dare not approach, dreams and sleep remain clear. Cold and heat cannot invade, disaster and illness cannot harm. Practice between Zi hour (11 PM-1 AM) and Wu hour (11 AM-1 PM), aligning with the creation of Heaven and Earth. Cycle through the sequence, guided by the Eight Trigrams as a beneficial cause.
The verse states: This method begins at Zi hour (midnight) on Jiazi days. At the start, no air should exit the mouth, only slight clear Qi released through the nose. Perform once daily between Zi and Wu hours, or three times total day and night. With long-term practice, diseases will naturally be eliminated, and the body will gradually feel light. If one practices diligently without slackening, the Dao of Immortality is not far.
