Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, washed with hot water) 2 qian, Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex) 2 qian, Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) 2 qian, Fuling (Poria) 2 qian, Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus/Cortex) 1 qian, Zisu (Perillae Folium) 1 qian, Juhong (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum) 1 qian, Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) 1 qian, Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), Dazao (Jujubae Fructus) as needed; decoct in water and take orally.
Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, one large piece, used raw) 1 liang, Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) 1 liang, Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparatum) 2 liang. In cases of cold sweat and flushed face, this indicates Yang Qi being repelled to the upper body. Add nine stalks of Congbai (Allii Tuberosi Bulbus) to unblock Yang.
Yu Jiayan stated: In individuals with Yang deficiency, even if there are exterior symptoms, sweating persists, and the hands and feet must be cold. If exterior-releasing herbs are used immediately, it will lead to collapse of Yang; if not used, the external pathogen cannot be dispersed. Therefore, treat with the aforementioned decoction plus Congbai. If abdominal pain is present, it indicates insufficiency of True Yin; add 2 liang of Shaoyao to astringe Yin. If there is a sore throat, it is due to Yin Qi knotting upward; add 1 liang of Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) to benefit the throat. If vomiting and diarrhea cease but the pulse does not emerge, add 2 liang of Renshen to assist Yang and tonify Qi and Blood. If vomiting occurs, add 2 liang of Shengjiang to disperse rebellious Qi. All the above are modifications of Tongmai Sini Tang (Pulse-Reviving Four Reversals Decoction).

Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) 10 jin, specifically those from Yuqian. First, boil into porridge soup, let cool, soak overnight, scrape off the skin, clean, slice, steam with mountain yellow earth, dry in the sun, then steam with rice flour, and dry in the sun again. Use only 100 bowls of water, boil over mulberry wood fire until reduced to 30 bowls. Add 2 jin of Baimit (White Honey), simmer into an extract/paste. Take one wine glass per dose, administered with light ginger soup.
The Taiyin Spleen governs the origin of transformation and production. Its nature prefers dryness, its taste preference is sweet, and its Qi favors warmth. Baizhu possesses these three qualities, making it a crucial herb for regulating the Central Palace (Spleen/Stomach). Paired with Baimit to moderate its dryness, and since heavy sweet flavor directs quickly to the Spleen, Tao Hua praised it saying: "It defends against hundred evils externally and fills the six Fu organs internally; its taste is heavy like golden nectar, its fragrance surpasses jade liquid. How could it receive such high praise without reason!"
This formula is a combination of Wuling San (Five-Ling Powder) and Pingwei San (Stomach-Pacifying Powder).
