治手足痘不起者。
人参 黄 甘草 防风（去芦） 防己（酒洗） 官桂（去皮） 水煎服。
治痘作痛。
芍药（酒洗） 当归（酒洗） 生地（酒洗） 红花 地骨皮等分 水煎。
治痘溃烂。用干生粪烧过，取中间白者，研筛敷之。
治痘痂不落，昏迷沉睡。

方，用马齿苋捣汁，猪膏脂，石蜜，共熬膏涂肿处。

Decoct in water, add burnt human feces, and take orally.

Decoct in water, add burnt human feces, and take orally.

Decoct in water and take orally.

Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归) [washed with wine], Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术) [stir-fried with soil], Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong, 麦门冬) [pith removed], Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi, 陈皮), Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren, 酸枣仁), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) [stir-fried with wine], Poria (Baifuling, 白茯苓). Add one red date. Add a pinch of glutinous rice. Decoct in water.
Treatment for variola crusts that do not fall off, resulting in scars.
Accipiter Falconis Excrementum (Yingfen, 鹰粪) [select white part, burn to ash], Portulacae Herba (Machixian, 马齿苋) [any amount], dry and burn to ash. Mix with honey water and apply to the crusts. Another prescription: crush Portulacae Herba (Machixian, 马齿苋) to extract juice, mix with Porcine Adipose Tissue (Zhigaoshi, 猪膏脂) and Rock Sugar (Shimi, 石蜜), boil into an ointment, and apply to swollen areas.
Treatment for variola crusts wanting to fall but failing to leave scar marks.
Ovis Medullary Bone (Yang Suigui, 羊骨髓) [1 liang], refine with Calomelas (Qingfen, 轻粉) [1 qian], grind into a white paste, and apply to the sores.
Treatment for erysipelas-like red fire toxin pain after variola resolution.
Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen, 玄参), Angelicae Sinensis Radix Caudex (Guiwei, 归尾) [washed with wine], Carthami Flos (Honghua, 红花) [washed with wine], Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao, 连翘) [branches, stems, and pith removed], Gypsum Fibrosum (Ruan Shigao, 软石膏), Lycii Cortex (Digupi, 地骨皮), Paeoniae Rubra Radix (Chishao, 赤芍), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjiesui, 荆芥穗), Akebiae Caulis (Mutong, 木通) [equal parts]. Add Lophatheri Herba (Dan Zhuye, 淡竹叶), decoct in water, and take orally.
