治痘疮干克不起，用水杨柳。生水边细叶红根者是也。春冬用枝，秋夏用枝叶，切碎，水煎七八沸，
先将一分。置盆内，候温，令先服内托之剂，然后浴洗，渐渐添汤，不致太冷，浴洗久许，以油捻点灯照
之，垒垒有起势，起处觉晕晕有丝、此浆影也。如浆不满，再浴。若弱者、只浴头面手足、既不赤体
不厌多洗，须以灯照而无起势者，乃气血败而津液桔矣，不治。
治中气虚寒，泄泻腹胀，痘色惨白。
木香（临时磨服） 大腹皮（黑豆汁洗净用） 人参（各二钱） 赤茯苓 前胡 青皮（去瓤，
炒） 半夏（汤泡七次） 丁香 诃子肉 甘草（各二钱，五分） 桂心（一钱五分）
为末，每服三钱、姜枣水煎。随儿大小加减。
治痘出里寒，饮食少进，大便泄泻，小便清白，神气倦，口鼻气冷，疮不起发。
人参 白术（土炒） 白茯苓 干山药 莲肉（去心） 桔梗 薏苡仁 藿香（砂仁） 甘草
为末，米饮调服。
治痘初出，疮头焦黑。
归尾 赤芍 生地 木通 连翘 桔梗 红花 紫草 牛蒡子 山豆根 水煎，调入烧人粪一钱服。
治痘稠密。

赤芍 荆芥穗 归尾（酒洗） 蝉蜕 升麻 干葛 酒红花 连翘（去枝、梗、心）
水煎。入烧人粪调服。
To treat variola (smallpox) lesions that are dry, collapsed, and failing to rise, use *Salix integra* (Shuiyangliu). The variety growing by the water with fine leaves and red roots is the correct one. In spring and winter, use the branches; in autumn and summer, use the branches and leaves. Chop them finely, decoct in water for seven or eight boils. Take a small amount first, place it in a basin, wait until it is warm, have the patient take an internal supportive formula first, then bathe. Gradually add hot water to prevent it from becoming too cold. After bathing for a while, illuminate with an oil wick lamp. One will see the lesions rising in layers; at the raised areas, there is a dizzy sensation with thread-like shadows, which indicates the formation of pus. If the pus is insufficient, bathe again. If the patient is weak, only bathe the head, face, hands, and feet. Even without stripping naked, do not mind washing frequently. It is necessary to observe under the light; if there is no sign of rising, it means Qi and Blood are exhausted and body fluids are dried up, which is incurable.
To treat middle Jiao deficiency-cold causing diarrhea, abdominal distension, and pale white varicella lesions.
Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, ground fresh before use) Dafupi (Arecae Pericarpium, washed with black soybean juice) Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, each 2 qian) Chifuling (Poria with Red Sandalwood) Qianhu (Peucedani Radix) Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, remove pith, stir-fried) Banxia (Pinelliae Tuber, soaked in boiling water seven times) Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos) Hezi Rou (Terminalia Chebulae Fructus) Gancao (Licorice Root, each 2 qian 5 fen) Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus, 1 qian 5 fen)
Grind into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, decoct with ginger and jujube water. Adjust dosage according to the child's age and size.
To treat varicella due to interior cold, resulting in poor appetite, diarrhea, clear urine, fatigue, cold breath from mouth and nose, and failure of lesions to erupt.
