鹿角霜（取角之新者，用桑柴火，水煮十二时，以软为度，再将竹刀切去黑皮，取
洁白者，春细为细霜） 龟板（八字文具者，醇酒浸七日，酥炙透黄，为末） 鹿茸
（新如紫茄者，熏干，酒洗，酥炙透，为细末） 虎胫骨（新而真者，酥炙透，为细
末） 上霜板未各三两六钱，茸胫末各二两四钱，重罗极细，火炼白蜜入 猪脊髓，
为丸，每空心盐汤下，五七十丸。丈夫中年觉衰者，便可服。
此方鹿，纯阳也。龟、虎，阴也。血气有情，各从其类，非金石草木例也。如浓味
善饮之人，可以猪胆汁一二合，和剂中，以寓降火之意。
大补精髓，益气养神。
鹿角（血取者，十斤） 龟板（自败者，五斤） 枸杞子（甘州者，三十两） 人参（清
须者，十五两） 上用铅镡熬胶，初服酒化一钱五分，加至三钱空心下。
人有三奇，精、气、神，生生之本也。精生气，气生神，精伤无以生气，气伤无以
生神，故曰∶天一生水，水为万物之元，精不足者，补之以味，故鹿角为君，龟板为臣，鹿得天地
之阳气最全，善通督脉，足于精者，故能多淫而寿。龟得天地之阴气最浓，善通任脉，足于气者，
故能伏息而寿。二物气血之属，皆得造化之玄微，异类有情，竹破竹补之法也。人参为阳，补气中之
怯，枸杞为阴，清神中之火，故以为佐，是方也。一阴一阳无偏胜之忧，入气入血，有
和平之美，由是精生而气旺，气旺而神昌，庶几可享龟鹿之年矣，故日二仙。

Lu Jiao Shuang (Deer Horn Frost: Select fresh deer horns, boil in water with mulberry wood fire for twelve double-hours until soft. Scrape off the black skin with a bamboo knife, take the white part, and pound finely into frost in spring.) Gui Ban (Turtle Shell: Use turtle shells with characters resembling the number eight on the carapace. Soak in pure wine for seven days, roast thoroughly with rendered animal fat (su) until yellow, and grind into powder.) Lu Rong (Deer Antler Velvet: Select fresh antlers resembling purple eggplants. Smoke-dry, wash with wine, roast thoroughly with rendered animal fat, and grind into fine powder.) Hu Jing Gu (Tiger Tibia Bone: Select fresh and authentic tiger leg bones. Roast thoroughly with rendered animal fat and grind into fine powder.) The above four ingredients: Lu Jiao Shuang and Gui Ban each weigh 3 liang 6 qian; Lu Rong and Hu Jing Gu each weigh 2 liang 4 qian. Sift all to an extremely fine powder. Add refined white honey and pig spinal cord to form pills. Take 50-70 pills each time with salted water on an empty stomach. Middle-aged men who feel their vitality declining can take this prescription.
In this formula, the deer represents pure Yang. The turtle and tiger represent Yin. These are living creatures with blood and qi, following the principle of similarity, unlike minerals, stones, herbs, or plants. For individuals with rich dietary tastes and those who drink alcohol heavily, add one or two he of pig bile to the mixture to incorporate the intention of clearing heat and lowering fire.
Efficacy: Greatly tonifies essence and marrow, benefits qi, and nourishes spirit.
[Gui Lu Er Xian Jiao]
Lu Jiao (Deer Horn: From slaughtered deer, 10 jin.) Gui Ban (Turtle Shell: From naturally deceased turtles, 5 jin.) Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry: From Ganzhou, 30 liang.) Ren Shen (Ginseng: With clear须/roots, 15 liang.) Boil the above ingredients in a lead pot to make glue. Initially, dissolve 1.5 qian in wine and take on an empty stomach; gradually increase the dose to 3 qian.
Humans possess three wonders: Essence (Jing), Qi, and Spirit (Shen), which are the root of continuous life. Essence generates Qi; Qi generates Spirit. If Essence is damaged, it cannot generate Qi; if Qi is damaged, it cannot generate Spirit. Thus it is said: "Heaven generates Water as One; Water is the origin of all things." For those lacking Essence, tonify with substantial flavors. Therefore, Deer Horn serves as the Sovereign herb because the deer receives the most complete Yang Qi from Heaven and Earth, excels in unblocking the Du Meridian, and possesses abundant Essence, thus enabling frequent mating and longevity. The Turtle receives the densest Yin Qi from Heaven and Earth, excels in unblocking the Ren Meridian, and possesses abundant Qi, thus enabling prolonged hibernation and longevity. These two substances belong to the category of Blood and Qi, obtaining the profound subtleties of creation. This exemplifies the method of "strange living things having affection" and "repairing bamboo with bamboo." Ginseng is Yang, tonifying deficiency within Qi; Goji Berry is Yin, clearing fire within Spirit. Thus, they serve as Assistant herbs. This formula balances Yin and Yang without excessive dominance, harmonizes Qi and Blood, and possesses the beauty of peace. Consequently, Essence is generated, Qi becomes prosperous, and Spirit flourishes, allowing one to enjoy the lifespan of turtles and deer. Hence, it is called "Two Immortals."
