Treats frequent turbid discharge resembling semen, with urine as clear as water but containing turbid sediment, known as Gao Lin (Semenous Strangury).
Bibing (Dioscorea hypoglauca Rhizome), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Wuyao (Linderae Radix), Yizhiren (Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus) in equal parts; Gancao Shao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma - tip of the root) in half dosage. Decoct in water and take orally.
Water nature tends downward, hence the continuous dribbling. Dryness can remove dampness, therefore Shichangpu and Wuyao are used to level the excessive accumulation of damp-earth. Yizhiren enters the Kidney to gather Qi back to its source; when Kidney Water functions properly, it naturally retains and controls, making urination regulated. As for guiding the water pathway into the Large Intestine and separating the clear from the turbid, this is solely the power of Bibing, hence it is called Bibing Fenqing Yin (Separating Turbidity Decoction).
