治血淋，诸热淋。
山茵陈 淡竹叶 木通 山栀子 滑石 甘草 猪苓 瞿麦 灯心 水煎。如大
便闭结，加大黄。
治五淋，沙石淋。
滑石 琥珀（各一两） 木通 当归 木香 郁金 竹（各五钱） 为末，每服五钱，
空心竹叶煎汤下。
治五淋涩痛，小便有脓出血。
琥珀 海金砂 没药 生蒲黄（各一两） 为末，每三钱，浓煎，通草汤下，日二服。

用蝼蛄七枚，盐二两，同于新瓦上，焙干，研细，温酒调服一钱即愈。又方，用芒
根二茎，锉碎，水一碗，煎半碗顿服，即通。又方，用车前子一两，以绢袋盛，水煎
温服，立瘥。又方，用地肤子，或茎叶一两，水煎温服，即北方扫帚秧上子是也。又
方，用萱草根一握，捣取汁服，或嫩苗煮食之。

用琥珀为末，每服一钱，灯心薄荷调下。
Treats various forms of strangury (Lin syndrome), where urination is accompanied by unbearable pain.
Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen, Plantago seed) (half tael), Danzhuye (Lophatheri Herba, Lophatherum herb), Chifuling (Poria cum Radix Pini, Poria with pine root), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica, Schizonepeta spike), Dengcao (Junci Medulla, Juncus pith) (each two qian). Divide into two doses, decoct in water and take orally.
Another prescription
Treats blood strangury (Xuelin) and various types of heat strangury (Relin).
Shanyincheng (Artemisiae Scopariae Herba, Artemisia scoparia herb), Danzhuye (Lophatheri Herba, Lophatherum herb), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, Akebia stem), Shanzhizi (Gardeniae Fructus, Gardenia fruit), Huashi (Talcum, Talc), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Licorice root), Zhuling (Polyporus, Polyporus), Qumai (Dianthi Herba, Dianthus herb), Dengxin (Junci Medulla, Juncus pith). Decoct in water. If there is constipation, add Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, Rhubarb root).
Treats the five types of strangury (Wulin) and gravel strangury (Shashilin).
Huashi (Talcum, Talc), Hupo (Succinum, Amber) (each one tael), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, Akebia stem), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Angelica sinensis root), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, Aucklandia root), Yujin (Curcumae Radix, Curcuma root), Zhu (Bambusae Caulis Interlus, Bamboo internodes) (each five qian). Grind into fine powder. Take five qian per dose, on an empty stomach, washed down with a decoction of Zhuye (Bambusae Folium, Bamboo leaf).
Treats painful and difficult strangury with pus and blood in the urine.
Hupo (Succinum, Amber), Haijinsha (Lygodii Spora, Lygodium spore), Moyao (Myrrha, Myrrh), Sheng Puhuang (Typhae Pollen, Cattail pollen) (each one tael). Grind into fine powder. Take three qian per dose, strongly decocted, washed down with Tongcao (Tetrapanacis Medulla, Tetrapanax pith) decoction. Take twice daily.
Another prescription
Use seven earthworms (Lougu) and two taels of salt. Roast them together on a new tile until dry, grind into fine powder. Mix with warm wine and take one qian; recovery will follow. Another prescription: Use two stems of Manggen (unknown specific botanical source, likely referring to a local root used for diuresis), chop finely, decoct in one bowl of water until half remains, and take in one dose to restore free urination. Another prescription: Use one tael of Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen, Plantago seed), place in a silk bag, decoct in water, and take warm; cure will be immediate. Another prescription: Use Difuzi (Kochiae Fructus, Kochia fruit) or its stems and leaves (one tael), decoct in water and take warm; this refers to the seeds found on the broom grass (Kochia scoparia) common in the north. Treats red and white turbid strangury (Chibaishilin).
Baikufan (Alumen, Alum), Wumeirou (Mume Fructus Carapax, Dried plum flesh). Form into pills. For red-type, take with Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Licorice) decoction; for white-type, take with wine.
Treats strangury with unbearable pain in the urethra, radiating to hypochondriac pain.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix, Ginseng root) (five fen), Fuling (Poria, Poria sclerotium), Chuanlian (Toosendan Fructus, Toosendan fruit, stir-fried) (one qian), Sheng Gancao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Raw licorice root) (one qian), Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma, Corydalis rhizome) (seven fen), Hupo (Succinum, Amber), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma, Alisma rhizome), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, Bupleurum root), Danggui Shao (Angelicae Sinensis Radix caudex, Angelica sinensis tail), Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, Green tangerine peel), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, Phellodendron bark) (each three fen). Decoct in water, take warm on an empty stomach.
Another prescription
Treats hematuria (blood in urine). Use Yiyuan San (Yiyuan Powder). Prepare a decoction of Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Licorice) and Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, Cimicifuga rhizome), mix with the powder, and take orally.
Another prescription
Grind Hupo (Succinum, Amber) into fine powder. Take one qian per dose, mixed with Dengxin (Junci Medulla, Juncus pith) and Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba, Mint herb).
