Treats various malignant sores. Taking this medicine induces slight sweating, which brings immediate effect.
Realgar (Xionghuang), Frankincense (Ruxiang) (each 1 qian), Toad venom (Chansu) (1 fen). Make pills using yellow wine and hot wheat paste, sized like mung beans. Take three pills per dose, washed down with decoction of green onion whites. If not cured, take another dose.
Treats chancre on the penis, or cases where it gradually erodes through and fails to heal for a long time:
Areca nut (Binglang), Lead monoxide (Miduoseng), Realgar (Xionghuang), Calomel (Qingfen), Coptis chinensis (Huanglian), Phellodendron bark (Huangbai), Mirabilite (Piaoxiao) (equal parts). Grind into powder. First wash the affected area clean with water infused with green onion whites, then dry with a soft cloth. For wet sores, apply the powder dry; for dry sores, mix with oil and apply externally.
Another prescription:
Treats chancre on the penis, or cases where it becomes soggy, even rotting away half of it, cured by taking this formula.
Coptis chinensis (Huanglian) (2 liang), Licorice root (Gancao) (1 liang), Persicaria bistorta (Bianxu) (4 liang). Decoct in water for internal administration; external washing is also very effective.
Child's tea (Haiercha) (3 fen), Ash from sugarcane head (Ganzhetouhui) (1 qian), Borneol (Bingpian) (1 fen).
Grind into extremely fine powder and sprinkle on the affected area; very effective.
One method:
When osteomyelitis or deep-seated abscess is about to form, use this method to dissipate it.
The method is: urgently dig a pit in the ground, heat it red with fire, pour concentrated urine into it, sit naked on it, wrap the lower body with blankets and mats, allowing the hot steam to penetrate. This opens the couli (skin pores and interstices), promotes smooth flow of qi and blood, resolves toxic factors, and leads to recovery.
The breast is the pathway of the Stomach Meridian of Yangming; the nipple belongs to the Liver Meridian of Jueyin. Nursing mothers who neglect proper regulation may have their qi constrained by anger and depression, compounded by rich, greasy, and roasted foods. This causes the qi of the Jueyin meridian to stagnate, blocking the ducts so milk cannot exit. Meanwhile, the blood in the Yangming meridian boils, leading to excessive heat that transforms into pus. Another cause is when a nursing infant has phlegm-stagnation in the chest-diaphragm region and breathes hot air while sleeping with the nipple in the mouth, causing heat to blow into the breast and form nodules. At the initial stage, one must endure pain, massage, and suckle to ensure patency, which allows natural dissipation. If this opportunity is missed and untreated, it will inevitably develop into an abscess or boil. Cases before age forty are easy to treat. Those around fifty are difficult to cure because the qi and blood of both the Yangming and Jueyin meridians are gradually declining. The treatment principle involves: dispersing Jueyin stagnation using Qingchaihu (Bupleurum); clearing Yangming heat using Shigao (Gypsum); moving turbid blood using Gancao jie (Licorice root tips); reducing swelling and guiding out toxins using Gualouzi (Trichosanthes fruit seed); optionally adding Myrrh (Moyao), Green tangerine leaf (Qingjuye), Gleditsia sinensis thorn (Zaocispina), Honeysuckle flower (Jinyinhua), Red peony root (Chishao), and Forsythia fruit (Lianqiao), and Angelica sinensis (Danggui). These must be assisted by a small amount of wine. Applying moxibustion (20-30 moxa cones) directly on the swelling yields particularly rapid results. Do not casually use needles or knives, as this will lead to critical danger. If due to accumulated worry, anger, and depression over years, causing Spleen qi obstruction and Liver qi rebellion, hidden nodules form. Resembling large chess pieces, they are painless and itchless. Decades later, they become sunken ulcers named "Naiyan" (Breast Rock/Breast Cancer), named for their uneven, cave-like appearance. This condition is incurable. Only at the very beginning can the root of the disease be eliminated. With a clear mind and tranquil spirit, followed by appropriate treatment, there is still a possibility of stabilization and healing.
