[Diagram of the Ren Meridian Acupoints]
Huiyin (CV-1) is located between the two yin organs. Qugu (CV-2) is at the midpoint of the pubic hairline, below the umbilicus. Zhongji (CV-3) is four cun below the umbilicus. Guanyuan (CV-4) is three cun below Zhongji. Shimen (CV-5) is below Guanyuan. Qihai (CV-6) is one and a half cun below the umbilicus. The description regarding Fujiao (likely referring to a positional relationship or typo for another point like Fuliu) is clear, located one cun below the umbilicus. Shenque (CV-8, indicated as HT in text) is internal. Shenmen, Guanyuan, and Shuifen are each spaced one cun apart. Moving upward, Xiawan (CV-10), Jianli (CV-11), Zhongwan (CV-12), and Shangwan (CV-13) are listed, with each interval being one cun, serving as the main sequence. Juque (CV-14) is above Shangwan. The distance between Shangwan and Juque is one and a half cun. Jiutui (CV-15) is five fen below the xiphoid process (bi gu). Zhongting (CV-16) and Danzhong (CV-17) are spaced one cun and six fen apart. Danzhong is located between the two nipples. Zhengtang (likely Zhenzhou or similar, text says Zhengtang), Ziyang (CV-19), and Huagai (CV-20) are each spaced one cun and six fen apart. Below Meihuagai (likely a textual variant or error for Huagai), Xuanji (CV-21) is measured one cun below Jixia (likely referring to the depression below the sternum). Tiantu (CV-22) is located below the knot of the throat. Lianquan (CV-23) is sought thoroughly below the chin bone tip. Chengjiang (CV-24) is beside the mandible, below the lip ridge. This area belongs to the Ren Meridian and should be examined carefully.

[Grid Diagram of Qiufu’s Thirteen Needles for Treating Ghost Disease]
Renzhong (GV-26), Shenting (GV-24), Fengfu (GV-16) start the sequence, followed by Shefeng (Extra point, tongue slit), Chengjiang (CV-24), Jiache (ST-6), Shaoshang (LU-11), Daling (PC-7), Jianshi (PC-5), connecting to Ruzhong (CV-17), Yanglingquan (GB-34), Yinbai (SP-1), and Xingjian (LR-2). These thirteen acupoints must not be missed. These thirteen points were established by Qiufu.
Renzhong (GV-26) is named Guigong (Ghost Palace);
Shaoshang (LU-11) [bilateral] is named Guishi (Ghost Chamber);
Yinbai (SP-1) [bilateral] is named Guijie (Ghost Joint);
Daling (PC-7) is named Guixin (Ghost Heart);
Xingjian (LR-2) [bilateral] is named Guilu (Ghost Path);
Fengfu (GV-16) is named Guiwan (Ghost Wrist);
Jiache (ST-6) [bilateral] is named Guiguan (Ghost Gate);
Chengjiang (CV-24) is named Guimen (Ghost Door);
Jianshi (PC-5) [bilateral] is named Guibi (Ghost Arm);
Shenting (GV-24) is named Guiguang (Ghost Light);
Ruzhong (CV-17) is named Guwei (Ghost Position);
Yanglingquan (GB-34) is named Guitui (Ghost Leg);
Shefeng (Extra point, tongue slit) is named Guishen (Ghost Body). (Note: Shefeng refers to the slit in the tongue; if purple blood emerges from the middle of the tongue slit, indicating heavy body, swollen tongue, and difficulty speaking due to pathogenic heat in the Heart meridian, releasing this purple blood is optimal.)
For anyone suffering from ghost disease, one must first needle Renzhong (GV-26), then proceed sequentially to needle the remaining twelve points. For males, start with the left side; for females, start with the right side. The therapeutic effect will be miraculous.
