Yamen (DU15), Laogong (PC8), and Sanyinjiao (SP6); Yongquan (KI1), Taixi (KI3), and Zhongwan (CV12) connect; Huantiao (GB30), Zusanli (ST36), and Hegu (LI4) are combined. These are the Nine Acupoints for Returning Yang (Huiyang Jiuzhenxue).

Gongsun (SP4) connects to the Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel), treating diseases of the stomach, heart, and chest; Neiguan (PC6) connects to the Yin Wei Mai (Ying Linking Vessel), governing the lower body and all vessels; Linqi (GB41) connects to the Gallbladder Meridian and links with the Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel); Waiguan (TE5) connects to the Yang Wei Mai (Yang Linking Vessel), meeting at the outer canthus of the eye; Houxi (SI3) connects to the Du Mai (Governor Vessel), communicating in the neck and nape; Shenmai (BL62) connects to the Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Heel Vessel), ensuring smooth meridian flow; Quepen (ST12) connects to the Lung Meridian; Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) travels along the Yin Qiao Mai (Yin Heel Vessel); Zhaohai (KI6) treats disorders of the diaphragm and throat.
The Sea of Yang Vessels (Du Mai) has many key points; the Ren Mai originates from the bottom of Zhongji (CV3), ascends along the abdomen, passes through the throat to Chengjiang (CV24), and is governed by the Ren Mai, which serves as the Sea of Yang Vessels.
The Chong Mai emerges from the Baozhong (uterus/womb), runs along the middle of the spine, meets the yin collaterals from the abdomen, and surrounds the lips; in women, it forms the menstrual cycle and is called the Blood Chamber; it runs parallel to the Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and originally connects with the Ren and Du Mai. The Yang Qiao, Yin Qiao, and other vessels rise together but travel distinct paths. The Yang Qiao Mai originates from the inner heel, ascends along the lateral malleolus, and enters Fengchi (GB20); the Yin Qiao Mai originates from the medial malleolus, ascends along the throat, and is a branch of the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian.
The intersection of all yang vessels gives rise to the Yang Wei Mai, originating from the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian's Zhubin (KI9); the intersection of all yang vessels gives rise to the Yang Wei Mai; Jinmen (BL63) of the Taiyang Meridian is where the Dai Mai circles around the hypochondrium, meeting at Weidao (GB26). This refers to the Eight Extraordinary Vessels mentioned by the Shaoyang. The Wei Mai governs all meridians, following the normal order.
