For Yang stems (Jia, Bing, Wu, Geng, Ren): Guānchōng (San Jiao 1, TE1), Yèmén (San Jiao 2, TE2), Zhōngzhǔ (San Jiao 3, TE3), Yángchí (San Jiao 4, TE4), Zhīgōu (San Jiao 6, TE6) are Jing-Well points. For Yin stems (Yi, Ding, Ji, Xin, Gui): Zhōngchōng (Pericardium 9, PC9), Láogōng (Pericardium 8, PC8), Dàlíng (Pericardium 7, PC7), Jiānshǐ (Pericardium 5, PC5), Qūzé (Pericardium 3, PC3) are Jing-Well points.
Cóngzhú (Bladder 2, BL2) and Sīzhúkōng (Bladder 1, BL1) treat lateral and frontal headaches; needling these acupoints is suitable. Additionally, apply reducing method to Dàdū (Spleen 2, SP2) to dispel wind. Insert Fēngchí (Gallbladder 20, GB20) three cun deep. First needle and reduce Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) and Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36); this can permanently eliminate disease invasion.
For head wind, headache, and toothache, locate Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) and Sānjiān (Large Intestue 3, LI3). Further needle Dàdū (Spleen 2, SP2). For eye pain, needle Nèiguān (Pericardium 6, PC6). For toothache, needle Lǚxì (Kidney 6, KI6) three fen deep, following the previous *Zhiyao* for clarity. Further consider Dàdū (Spleen 2, SP2), using left-right cross treatment and mutual greeting methods with careful operation. Combine Tīnghuì (Gallbladder 2, GB2) and Tīnggōng (San Jiao 19, TE19); reduce by seven fen. For deafness in the ear, reduce ěrmén (San Jiao 21, TE21) by three fen, and additionally moxa Tīnggōng (San Jiao 19, TE19) seven moxa cones. In the Large Intestine meridian, reduce Qūchí (Large Intestine 11, LI11) and Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) by seven fen each. If a TCM practitioner understands this principle, efficacy will be seen upon needle insertion.
For shoulder and back pain, including scapular pain, deeply needle Qūchí (Large Intestine 11, LI11) and Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) seven fen each. If not cured, add Chǐzé (Lung 5, LU5) one cun, then sequentially needle Sānjiān (Large Intestine 3, LI3), inserting seven fen each. Correspond with Shàofǔ (Heart 8, HT8) regarding the Heart meridian. From below the throat to the stomach and wrist, for critical hundred diseases, when heart qi pain causes chest congestion, cold damage with vomiting and hiccups, chest fullness with saliva flow, insert Lièquē (Lung 7, LU7) three fen, reduce to Fēngchí (Gallbladder 20, GB20) three fen. Needle Sānjiān (Large Intestine 3, LI3) on hands and feet, plus Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36), and Zhōngchōng (Pericardium 9, PC9) five fen again. According to frequent sweating, needle Wàngǔ (Triple Energizer 4, TE4) five fen, remember to reduce. Reduce Yújì (Lung 10, LU10), Jīngqú (Lung 8, LU8), and Tōnglǐ (Heart 5, HT5) one fen to stop profuse sweating. Needle Sānjiān (Large Intestine 3, LI3) on toes and Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36), five fen on the big toe; adapt to sweat arrival. One who understands this is a good physician.
For limb weakness due to evil wind, dry eyes difficult to open, hundred diseases attacking spirit causing drowsiness and muteness: use Fēngchí (Gallbladder 20, GB20) and Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) to unblock meridians, follow with reducing Sānjiān (Large Intestine 3, LI3) on both hands, combine with Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36) and Tàichōng (Liver 3, LR3), insert five fen each into the acupoints. Following Ying-Sui principles brings divine efficacy.
For Fēngchí (Gallbladder 20, GB20) and various interstices of hands and feet: right hemiplegia is called "Huan", left is called "Tān"; needle five fen each, follow with reducing, and moxa seven cones for body peace. Needle Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36) and Yīnjiāo (Conception Vessel 7, CV7) to move qi and reduce one cun three fen, judging by the disease. Add thirty-seven moxa cones per acupoint; naturally, paralysis will be cured instantly.
For malaria, needle Qūchí (Large Intestine 11, LI11), Jīngqú (Lung 8, LU8), and Héguǔ (Large Intestine 4, LI4) together appropriately. Needle five fen into two acupoints; if malaria纏身 persists, do not worry about deep needle insertion into Sānjiān (Large Intestine 3, LI3) five fen deep. If accompanied by qi pain and alternating chills and fever, needle Jiānshǐ (Pericardium 5, PC5) without delay.
For leg, hip, waist pain, and abdominal mass attacking the hip bone: insert seven fen into Huīgǔ (not a standard point, likely referring to local area or specific text variant, possibly meant as part of the region near GB30 or similar, but strictly extracting from text as Huīgǔ). Further needle Fēngshì (Gallbladder 31, GB31) and Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36) one cun three fen, applying same tonification/reduction. Another method: reduce Yīnjiāo (Conception Vessel 7, CV7) one cun, still needle Xínghuān (Liver 2, LR2) five fen; advance and retreat according to respiration to remove disease.
Twisting Finger Skill: When elbow and knee hurt, needle Qūchí (Large Intestine 11, LI11), inserting one cun is appropriate. Treat left disease with right needle, right disease with left needle; based on this, reduce qi by three fen which is miraculous. For knee pain, needle Dúnubí (Stomach 35, ST35) three fen. Sānlǐ (Stomach 36, ST36) and Yīnjiāo (Conception Vessel 7, CV7) require seven times. If one carefully seeks its principle, the merit of curing disease lies in a short moment.
