Renzhong, Shenting, and Fengfu begin; followed by Shefeng, Chengjiang, Jiache, Ban (Jiache), Shaoshang, Tailing, Jianshi connecting to Ruzhong, Yanglingquan; there are fixed points Yinbai and Xingjian, do not delay. These are thirteen acupoints.
Yamen, Laogong, Sanling (acupoint name, likely a textual variant for Sanyinjiao or a specific combination), Jiao (acupoint name or verb), Yongquan, Taixi, Zhongwan (Zhongwan acupoint) connect to Huantiao, Zusanli, Hegu; together these are the Nine Acupoints for Returning Yang.
The Du Mai (Governing Vessel) originates from Xiaji Shu (Changqiang acupoint), runs within the spine, ascends to Fengfu, passes through the brain, forehead, nose, and enters Yinjiao; it is the Sea of Yang Meridians and contains many key principles.
The Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) originates from Zhongji, ascends superficially along the abdomen, follows the throat, and reaches inside Chengjiang; it is the Sea of Yin Meridians and performs its functions.
The Chong Mai (Penetrating Vessel) emerges from the Bao (uterus), stops at the chest, meets the pharynx from the abdomen, and connects to the lips; in women, it forms the Jing (menstrual cycle) and becomes the Blood Chamber; its pulse merges with the Shaoyin Kidney Meridian. The Ren and Du originate from Yin; these three vessels arise together but travel differently.
The Yang Qiao starts from inside the heel of the foot, follows the lateral malleolus, and ascends into Fengchi.
The Yin Qiao starts from the medial malleolus, follows the throat and pharynx, and is originally a branch of the Foot Yin and Yang meridians.
The intersection of all Yin begins at the Yin Wei acupoint, originating from the Shaoyin acupoint Zubin.
The meeting of all Yang begins at the Yang Wei meridian, where Jinmen of the Taiyang is located.
The Dai Mai (Belt Vessel) circles around between the costal margin and hypochondrium, meeting at Weidao, belonging to the Shaoyang Gallbladder; these are the Eight Extraordinary Vessels, which maintain and connect the regular meridians, thus following normal patterns.
Gongsun and the Chong Mai intersect at the heart and chest; Neiguan and the Yin Wei generally converge below.
Linqi (Zulinqiu) and the Gallbladder Meridian connect to the Dai Mai; Yang Wei meets Waiguan at the outer canthus.
Houxi connects internally with the Du Mai to the back and neck; Shenmai and the Yang Qiao also connect.
Lieque travels with the Lung and Ren meridians' systems; Yin Qiao and Zhaohai separate the throat.
Gongsun pairs with Neiguan; Lieque can resolve [issues associated with] Zhaohai.
Linqi and Waiguan distinguish between master and guest points; Houxi and Shenmai harmonize mutually.
Needling the left for right-sided illness requires knowing high and low levels; using intention to connect meridians allows for extensive massage.
Tonification and sedation, Ying-Sui techniques, distinguishing reverse and smooth flow, are the true principles of the Five Elements and Eight Methods.
The Lung, starting from the Middle Jiao, is the ancestor of the meridians; its pulse exits at the tip of the thumb and rushes to the Large Intestine.
Immediately after, it rises from the tip of the index finger, circles the mouth, crosses to the nose interior.
The Stomach Meridian's Yuan point again descends from the nose, exits at the tip of the big toe hair.
The Spleen Meridian arises from the tip of the toe, flows upward to the heart.
The Shaoyin [Kidney] moves toward the Heart Meridian, enters the palm, follows the inner hand end, exits at the little finger, and travels to the Small Intestine.
Starting from the tip of the hand's little finger, it ascends obliquely to connect internally with the Liver and eyes.
The Bladder Meridian originates from the inner canthus, travels to the lateral side of the little toe of the foot.
The Kidney Meridian moves under the little toe, rises to fill the chest, passes over the abdomen and hips.
The Pericardium originates and connects to the chest, follows the middle of the little and index fingers of the hand.
The Sanjiao (Triple Burner) starts from the side of the index finger, circles around the front of the ear to rest near the outer canthus.
The Gallbladder home connects beside the eye, travels up the three hairs on the big toe of the foot.
The Foot Liver Meridian starts at the edge of the three hairs, injects into the Lung, and circulates endlessly.
