Maochan (transverse presentation) and difficult labor can be treated by moxibustion on an Extra point, located at the tip of the woman's right little toe. The moxa cone should be the size of a wheat grain, apply three cones (Zhuang). The delivery will be immediate, with efficacy surpassing the immortal.
[Note] For transverse presentation where the fetal hand or foot emerges first, when various medicines are ineffective, moxibustion on this point is indicated. The point is located at the outer lateral tip of the nail of the right little toe, which is Zhiyin (BL67). Apply three cones, with moxa cones the size of wheat grains; upon completion of moxibustion, delivery occurs immediately.
Zihu (Fetal Chamber) point needling treats retained placenta and can also treat fetal death in utero. The point is located two cun to the right of Guanyuan (CV4). Insert the needle one cun deep, and the fetus will be delivered immediately.
[Note] For retained placenta and fetal death in utero, needling the Zihu point is appropriate, inserting the needle one cun deep. This point is located two cun lateral to the right of Guanyuan (CV4) on the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel).
Jinggong (Essence Palace) point is located below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra, opening three cun to each side marks its location. Moxibustion on both left and right points, seven cones each, yields extraordinary effects for nocturnal seminal emission.
[Note] Nocturnal seminal emission can be treated by moxibustion on Jinggong point. The point is located below the fourteenth thoracic vertebra on the spine, three cun lateral to each side. Apply seven cones.
Guiyan (Ghost Eye) is a single point for moxibustion to treat Laochong (tubercle bacillus/pathogenic factors of consumption). Mark the patient's waist area with ink. Select Guihai day and Hai hour for moxibustion; do not let the patient know, as this method is most efficacious.
[Note] Consumption (Laozhi/Tuberculosis) that persists for a long time and spreads through infection involves internal "Laochong" (pathogenic factors). Moxibustion on Guiyan point is indicated. The point is located on both sides of the waist; when standing upright, there is a subtle hidden spot, mark it with ink. Lie face down, and apply small moxa cones, seven, nine, or eleven cones depending on the patient's condition. The pathogen will be expelled via vomiting or diarrhea. Immediately retrieve, burn, and discard it far away to prevent reinfection. Select the midnight of Guihai day when the Six Spirits gather. Perform moxibustion during the Hai hour. Do not inform the patient in advance, lest the corpse spirit become aware.
