Decoct in water and drink. In winter when cold, add Hei Jiang (Black Ginger/Zingiberis Rhizoma Carbonisatum) 5 fen. If vomiting occurs after taking the medicine, add Sheng Jiang (Fresh Ginger) 2 slices and Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus Rotundus) 5 fen.
If amniotic fluid loss is excessive, resulting in transverse or breech presentation, employ an experienced and steady midwife to gently correct the fetal position, then immediately administer this decoction, ensuring smooth delivery and safety. In summary, before the amniotic fluid flows, use Bao Sheng Wu You San (Preserve Life Without Worries Powder) to facilitate the fetus; if amniotic fluid loss is excessive, one must use Jia Wei Ba Zhen Tang (Modified Eight-Treasure Decoction) to greatly tonify Qi and Blood to assist the birth process, ensuring safe delivery.
Zhu Sha (Cinnabar) (finely ground and washed with water, 5 qian) Ming Ru Xiang (Olibanum) (roasted dry on bamboo leaves, 1 liang). Grind into powder. On the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu), form pills using pig heart blood, sized like Euryale Seed (Qianshi). Take one or two pills per dose, delivered with Gui Xiong Tang (Decoction of Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong).
