[Luo Tianyi] Ulcers arising within the ear are attributed to the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian. The kidney meridian connects to the ear. When the meridian is deficient, wind-heat pathogens invade, following the meridians into the ear, where they contend with healthy qi, causing ulcers at the ear gate. Zengqing San (Azurite Powder) is the primary treatment.
For malignant ulcers in the ear, use Zengqing San.
